The hall was dim, shadows stretching from the setting sun, but Takeru sat alone on a bench, his glowing Six Eyes dimmed as he muttered quietly to himself.
"If me and Gojo are brothers… but him and Yuji aren't… and me and Yuji are brothers—son of Jin Itadori… who was the reincarnation of Sukuna's twin brother… Sukuna…" His voice trailed, almost a whisper, the words more for himself than anyone else.
Gojo, leaning casually against the far wall, raised an eyebrow. "…Uh… did he just say… what I think he said?"
Yuji, crouched on the opposite bench, froze, trying to process without being noticed. "…Wait… brother… reincarnation… Sukuna's… huh?"
Takeru ran a hand through his white hair, leaning forward slightly. "…He ate his twin in the womb, but the soul… reincarnated. And… Kenjaku later created Yuji using that soul…" He paused, eyes narrowing. "…so does that mean… after Kenjaku did that… he possessed another woman from the Gojo clan and created me…?"
His voice softened, barely audible, and the last part trailed into silence. Yuji didn't hear that final piece. Gojo stiffened mid-breath, realization dawning, but he didn't interrupt—just silently observing, his grin gone, replaced by a rare seriousness.
Takeru's glowing eyes flickered faintly as he sat back, murmuring to himself. The weight of the connections, the reincarnations, the bloodlines—it was almost too much to comprehend.
From Takeru's cheek, Sukuna stirred, his normally smug voice quivering slightly with disbelief.
"Wha… wait… you're telling me… I'm related to both of them…?"
Takeru's lips tightened. He didn't answer.
Sukuna's voice grew more frantic, almost panicked. "Impossible… this… this shouldn't happen… Jin Itadori… the twin… the reincarnation… and now… them? Related? All of them?!"
Gojo pinched the bridge of his nose, muttering under his breath, "…Yep… this is a mess. And somehow, we're in the middle of it all."
Yuji, finally processing fragments of what Takeru said, whispered, "…Wait… wait, are you saying… we're connected to Sukuna… somehow?"
Takeru's glowing eyes met Yuji's, calm but intense. "…Yes. And it's… complicated. Very complicated."
Todo, who had been silently watching from the corner, leaned forward, grinning with wicked excitement. "Ohhhh, this is spicy! I love when family drama involves cursed energy and twin demons!"
Sukuna's grin was gone, replaced by a low growl. "This… changes everything. Blood… power… and… destiny… I… must see what this means. This… this cannot stand…"
The hall fell into tense silence. Only the faint hum of cursed energy echoed.
Takeru exhaled softly, eyes narrowing. "…If this is true… if we're all connected… then we need to be ready. For everything."
Gojo leaned back against the wall again, arms crossed, voice quiet but firm. "…Yeah. Welcome to family business, kid."
Yuji glanced between them both, uncertain but resolute. "…Guess I'm stuck with you guys, huh."
Takeru didn't answer, his glowing Six Eyes flickering as he stared at the faint shadow of Sukuna hovering in his cheek—both worried, both intrigued, both aware of just how tangled their bloodlines truly were.
