Chapter 67 - Chapter 67 Laboratory Alarm

RED.

BEEP.

BEEP.

BEEP.

The alarm echoed throughout the corridor.

It wasn't just noise.

It felt like pressure.

The air changed.

From cold...

to alive.

And dangerous.

There was no time to think.

Sinta moved first.

"Now."

No discussion.

No hesitation.

Footsteps were approaching.

Fast.

A lot of them.

Bimo glanced back.

"They're coming."

Dika smirked.

"Good."

"So are we."

Three Dominion guards appeared around the corner.

Black uniforms.

Electro-batons crackling with energy.

ZZZT.

"Stop them!"

Too late.

WHOOSH!

Bimo vanished.

One swift movement—

and the weapon was already in his hand.

Sparks flashed through the air.

Dika charged from the side.

A shove.

A fall.

Silence.

Fast.

Clean.

Rani slammed a metal cart forward.

CLANG!

The last guard hit the ground.

The corridor fell quiet again—

except for the alarm.

Bimo twirled the baton.

"Pretty light."

Sinta didn't even look back.

"Those were only the outer guards."

Her eyes stayed fixed ahead.

"The ones deeper inside..."

"They're different."

Kai stopped in front of a glass chamber.

A child floated inside.

Still asleep.

A faint golden glow shimmered beneath closed eyelids.

Kai stepped closer.

His hand nearly touched the glass.

"...He's like me."

Farhan examined the control panel.

"Prototype control systems."

Lila scanned the data.

"All energy patterns..."

"...are stored here."

Rani looked up.

"If we destroy this—"

"It all stops."

Bimo nodded immediately.

"I vote for that option."

But Kai shook his head.

"It's not that simple."

Everyone turned toward him.

He pointed farther ahead.

"This isn't the center."

"It's only where they're kept."

Silence followed.

"The thing controlling everything..."

"...is deeper inside."

Arga opened his lunch box.

The ten rice grains glowed.

Brighter.

Faster.

As if something was pulling them forward.

Farhan stared at his monitor.

"The energy level is rising again."

Lila frowned.

"This isn't a normal surge."

"It's responding."

Kai looked at Arga.

His eyes trembled slightly.

"...It's calling him."

They quickened their pace.

The alarm continued to scream.

Red lights flashed overhead.

The walls vibrated softly.

As if something deep within the facility was waking up.

At the end of the corridor stood a massive steel door.

Thick.

Cold.

Impenetrable.

A sign above it read:

PROTOTYPE CONTROL CHAMBER

Farhan pointed at it.

"The main server is behind that door."

Bimo grinned.

"Finally."

But Kai stopped.

His body stiffened.

"...This place."

"...This is where they broke us apart..."

"...and rebuilt us."

Nobody liked the way that sounded.

Sinta stared at the door.

"If that's true..."

"...then they're already prepared."

CLICK.

The door began to move.

Slowly.

It opened.

And they stepped out.

Three teenagers.

Silent.

Calm.

Far too calm.

Their eyes glowed gold.

Not like Kai's.

No hesitation.

No uncertainty.

Empty.

Perfect.

Their energy wasn't wild.

It was controlled.

Precise.

Like weapons that had already been completed.

Nobody moved.

Nobody spoke.

Only silence remained.

Bimo sighed.

"...Yeah."

"Of course."

Arga felt it immediately.

Not just pressure.

A pull.

His lunch box flared with light.

The ten rice grains pulsed violently.

Faster than ever before.

As if they refused to be restrained.

Kai glanced at him.

"...They're closer to you."

Silence.

The line had already been crossed.

Sinta stepped forward.

Slowly.

But with absolute certainty.

"Team."

One word was enough.

"This isn't an infiltration anymore."

Her gaze sharpened.

"It's a battle."

Behind the door, machines roared louder.

Inside the system, data flowed endlessly.

Analyzing.

Adapting.

Learning.

For the first time—

Dominion wasn't simply creating.

They were perfecting.

Three flawless weapons stood before them.

There was no way back.

And in the middle of it all stood Arga—

holding a power he still didn't fully understand.

For the first time, the question was no longer:

Can they win?

But instead:

If they do win... what will be left of them afterward?
