Lost within my own thoughts as I stared out across the beautiful gardens, watching the flowers sway within the gentle breeze, my peace was broken once again by approaching footsteps. The sound immediately caused my body to tense, as I assumed it was the weird cousin coming back to speak to me, but then his scent hit me upon the morning breeze. Kael.
