David's POV..
I woke up early in the morning. The day seemed to be peaceful.
I was sitting on the couch, quietly staring at the walls.
I spotted the photo of us—Section E—hanging on the wall.
Then I spotted her…
Jay Jay.
Cute and pretty as she is…
I don't know why I feel this, but yes, she has a great impact on me.
Seeing her happy makes me feel relieved.
Keifer is best for her and takes care of her, unlike Yuri, who has suddenly disappeared.
To be honest, I am worried about Keifer and Jay. I know Yuri will not let Jay go easily.
I was still thinking about it when suddenly the doorbell rang.
I got up to open the door, and the next thing in front of me shocked me.
The person I didn't want to face—not right now, not like this, not after everything…
Cheon.
I could see the nervousness and hesitation on her face. She smiled as she looked at me.
I invited her in, brought her a glass of water and some snacks from the kitchen, and made her sit on the couch.
For a few minutes, none of us spoke. But then she broke the silence…
"How are you, David?"
"Um… I am good. By the way, what brings you here?"
"Actually… I—"
Before she could speak, a voice cut her off…
"She wants to be with you again."
That line shocked me more than the person who said it.
Percy.
"David… he is right… I… am… sorry."
That line… I couldn't believe what was happening.
"But don't you like Percy?"
"No… she doesn't like me. The thing is different. And I am handsome…"
Huh, this guy is impossible…
"David, I know I have made a big mistake. You're a gentleman who did everything for me even when I never asked for it. I didn't even realize what I was doing and that I had lost a gentleman like you. I am sorry. I am not begging for your forgiveness immediately, but I am asking for a second and last chance, David… just this once to prove my love."
"Cheon, but—"
"David, just give her a chance."
It's too late because I have already fallen for Jay, and I can't change this fact. But when it comes to Cheon, I am still unable to move on.
"Fine… but I already have one girl whom I have fallen for, so let it go slowly. Give me some time."
"As long as you agree, David, I will always wait for you."
She hugged me tightly. I hugged her back too.
"Fine, enough for today… there are innocent people here."
"Shut up," we both said in unison, laughing.
