Phoenix shifted in his chair and I looked at him. "We have enough to work with for tonight. We will speak to your brother and fill in the details of the plan tomorrow. You need rest and fresh eyes in the morning."
I frowned at being sent out but I knew he was right and I also knew I was not in a state to sit in the room while Leo was questioned. A knock at the door pulled me out of my thoughts before I could say anything further.
Charlie walked over and opened it. Leo stepped in, his hair freshly washed and sitting fluffy around his face, his expression wary as he took in the room.
"You wanted to see me, Alpha?" he said.
Phoenix nodded. "We have some questions about your old pack."
Leo's eyes widened slightly but he nodded and came further into the room. I stood and crossed to him, letting his arms wrap around my shoulders before I pulled back and looked up at him.
"Just tell them the truth," I said quietly.
