Chapter 424 - The Truth of the Ninja World Revealed

Next, Uchiha Kagami relayed the information he had obtained from the Four-Tails Son Goku to Fumori Masaki, including some ancient secrets about the Sage of Six Paths' mother.

Regarding the ancient era, although there were the classics of the Shinobi Sect as corroboration, the descriptions were obscure, and some events from the time of the Sage of Six Paths remained unclear. The Tailed Beasts, having lived for nearly a thousand years, evidently knew some things from that time, and Uchiha Kagami learned of the existence of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya for the first time.

"I really didn't expect that the Sage of Six Paths wasn't the first to possess chakra, but rather his mother," Uchiha Kagami said. "According to the Four-Tails Son Goku, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, the Sage of Six Paths' mother, was the only person to possess three types of dōjutsu. She used these three dōjutsu to achieve perfect rule, placing the entire world under her control."

Fumori Masaki nodded slightly and said, "I see, that is indeed very surprising. However, is there anything you're particularly concerned about? This alone doesn't warrant such a secret discussion."

"Actually, I'm curious about what Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's perfect rule actually entailed," Uchiha Kagami said. "Because this might be the method Lord Madara hopes to achieve. Previously, due to the lack of the Rinnegan, the most important content of the Naka Shrine's stone tablet was not seen."

"So you know now?" Fumori Masaki's heart skipped a beat, but he maintained a calm expression as he asked.

"The Four-Tails Son Goku doesn't know the details either, as it was before its birth, but it learned a thing or two from snippets of conversation from others," Uchiha Kagami said. "While the specific method isn't very clear, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya used her dōjutsu to place most of those who defied her into a genjutsu, where they remained until death. Others with certain special powers, intimidated by Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's god-like strength and her ability to observe a thousand miles, could only submit before her."

Fumori Masaki understood. He knew that Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's method of placing people in genjutsu was the Infinite Tsukuyomi, which projected her dōjutsu into the sky. The ability to observe a thousand miles must have been Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's Byakugan. The basic Byakugan can observe a distance of one kilometer, but those with stronger dōjutsu can observe further. With Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's chakra and dōjutsu power, observing a thousand miles didn't seem like a problem.

The formidable power of the Rinnegan, the genjutsu ability of the Sharingan, and the observation ability of the Byakugan – Ōtsutsuki Kaguya used these to achieve her so-called "perfect rule." If it weren't for the Sage of Six Paths and his brother, who possessed equivalent power and rose up against their mother's tyranny, even after a thousand years, humanity would likely still be living in misery.

From a human perspective, Fumori Masaki felt that the Sage of Six Paths and his brother did an excellent job in this matter. Otherwise, humanity would never have known peace, as they would have had no chance of defeating the immortal Ōtsutsuki Kaguya. Even the Sage of Six Paths and his brother could only choose to seal her.

Although from the perspective of a mother-son relationship, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya seemed to have been betrayed by her sons, that was based on human ethics. Not to mention that humanity's stance should support such actions, whether the Sage of Six Paths and his brother even possessed human ethical views is still a question.

After all, the Sage of Six Paths and his brother were born from Ōtsutsuki Kaguya accepting the rather mystical "blessing of humanity." Whether they were truly human is still a question worth considering.

In the mythological stories envisioned by humans in Fumori Masaki's previous life, those transcendent beings like gods and immortals all had ways of thinking that were vastly different from ordinary people. Although the Sage of Six Paths later lived among humans, he certainly had an extraordinary side, not in terms of power, but in terms of thought.

Fumori Masaki could feel this when reading the Shinobi Sect classics. Some of the Sage of Six Paths' timeless remarks might have stemmed from this difference between a non-human and human perspective.

"So you suspect there's something wrong with the Uchiha family's stone tablet?" Fumori Masaki asked.

"Yes, the Infinite Tsukuyomi. This is the technique Ōtsutsuki Kaguya used to rule the world and control humanity.

How could such a thing be a method to save the world?" Uchiha Kagami said. "If it could truly save the world, the Sage of Six Paths should have done so back then. According to the Four-Tails Son Goku, those controlled by the Infinite Tsukuyomi eventually turn into mummies."

Fumori Masaki suddenly felt an urge to laugh, not at those controlled by the Infinite Tsukuyomi — he sympathized with them, as those controlled for too long by the Infinite Tsukuyomi lost their human life form, turning into something between a creature and a plant, which are White Zetsu — but he was happy about Uchiha Kagami's view of the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Uchiha Kagami learned the truth not from the stone tablet altered by Black Zetsu, but from the Four-Tails Son Goku.

Although the Four-Tails Son Goku, having been born later, didn't know the relationship between Ōtsutsuki Kaguya and the God Tree, nor did it know that behind the Infinite Tsukuyomi was a plot to revive Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, its thousand years of experience and its observations at the time revealed the tyrannical goddess Ōtsutsuki Kaguya and the sinister nature of the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Fumori Masaki had never underestimated the wisdom of the native people of this world. What they lacked was only the accumulation of eras, not a gap in wisdom. After Fumori Masaki gradually introduced some systems to Konoha Village, combining them with Konoha's characteristics and making certain modifications, the Research Department and the Shinobi Sect Revival Ideology Movement, as one of the pillars of the new era, were all being carried out by the native people. Fumori Masaki only played a guiding role and initiated things. Sometimes, just breaking through the barrier and letting them research on their own is much faster and more suitable for this era than simply imposing methods.

"Coincidentally, I also have some information to share with you," Fumori Masaki said calmly. "Perhaps it will help with your doubts."

With that, Fumori Masaki spoke of his wife Satomi, Kana, and Senju Tōka's past discussion about destiny. Here, they discovered records of reincarnation — which once again made Fumori Masaki marvel at the wisdom of the local people — and with this evidence, Fumori Masaki could legitimately reveal some information.

"Reincarnation… If the Shinobi Sect classics are correct, then the souls of the Sage of Six Paths' two sons, Lord Indra and Lord Ashura, are still in the world?" Uchiha Kagami was very surprised.

"It might not be their souls, but perhaps just their lingering thoughts or regrets," Fumori Masaki said. He knew that what reincarnated was their chakra, not their souls. Although chakra also carried spiritual characteristics, ultimately it was different, just like in the original timeline, Minato Namikaze could help Naruto through chakra, but his own soul was imprisoned within the Reaper.

"The conflict of ninja ways?" Uchiha Kagami immediately understood. The conflict between Indra and Ashura's ninja ways, even after their deaths, had never been resolved. So, even after a thousand years, it had to continue after death, to see who was truly correct.

"So, Lord Madara is Indra's reincarnation, and his fated enemy is Lord Hashirama, Ashura's reincarnation," Uchiha Kagami's thoughts followed this line.

"That should be the case," Fumori Masaki nodded. "And after Lord Hashirama and Lord Madara die, their reincarnations will inevitably appear again."

"That must be Uchiha Ken!" Uchiha Kagami exclaimed.

"Yes. And according to my speculation, Fujimura Yuki, who is on the same team as him, is Ashura's reincarnation," Fumori Masaki nodded slightly.

Uchiha Kagami's brows furrowed slightly. If they followed the previous reincarnation experiences, these two might also become adversaries in the future. If he had been ignorant, he might have believed it was fate, but with other evidence — the Uchiha Setsuna incident, the absurd records on the Naka Shrine's stone tablet — he began to suspect other things.

"Do you think there's really some kind of conspiracy behind this?" Uchiha Kagami asked.
