He didn't care about my tearful pleading, my brokenness, or the way my shivering body curled into itself in the corner of the bed. Instead, he remained standing in his towering, absolute dominance, his cold blue eyes watching me like winter ice. He derived a distinctly sadistic pleasure from seeing my defenses utterly shattered and stripped bare before him.
Turning slowly toward the door, it felt for a few agonizing seconds as if he might actually leave and abandon me to this hell of burning deprivation and lust. Instead, his large hand reached out and turned the key in the lock. The sharp, metallic click sent a violent, terrifying shiver straight through my core.
He removed his black shirt with steady, slow, and calculated movements, intentionally putting his sheer power on display. His massive, sculpted physique was broad-shadowed and heavily corded with dense muscle, patterned with rugged scars.
