Drowsiness no longer teased my exhausted eyelids after the strain of that long day; instead, it evaporated entirely as if it had never existed, replaced by a searing heat that surged through my veins like a cauldron the moment I felt the stiffness of his dominant body compressing my breath and pinning me against the solid wooden door of his room. The look of madness and possession burning in his dark eyes no longer terrified me or pushed me to retreat; rather, it awakened deep within me that wretched hunger and suppressed lust that I had been fighting so hard to deny throughout the past morning hours. I was physically exhausted, yes, but I was also ignited by a stubborn, wild desire, and I no longer possessed the energy or the will to deny it anymore.
