"What do we do with him?" Konstantin asked.
"Let him go," Manson said evenly. "But keep him under surveillance. If there's a mastermind… they'll surface eventually."
Riegrow's eyes widened in terror.
"No—no, they'll kill me!" he suddenly shouted. "They said if I don't finish the job, I die either way! Please—just kill me here!"
Manson didn't even flinch.
"I'm already being merciful to you," he said coldly.
Riegrow spat in desperation, his fear twisting into rage.
"You bastard… who asked for your mercy? Just kill me already!"
Manson exhaled slowly.
"How about your grandmother?"
A broken laugh escaped Riegrow, shaking and hollow.
"Haha… I guess she's already dead anyway… so just kill me."
His voice trembled at the end.
Manson turned slightly, expression unreadable.
"Konstantin," he said flatly, "do whatever you want with him."
Konstantin gave a small nod.
"Release him."
The ropes were cut.
For a brief second, silence held.
Then—
Riegrow snapped.
