Krisha soon woke up. She glanced at her watch and realized she slept for four hours straight. PengPeng was in her chest, sleeping peacefully.
She perceived an unstable energy radiating from PengPeng, a sign he was still currently undergoing his evolution.
She gently raised PengPeng and placed him beside her. She slowly moved away from him and stood up.
She stretched her limbs for quite sometime. To her surprise, she noticed the quality of the energy inside her body.
Her heart skipped a beat. She then recalled what she dreamed and her face turned to utter surprise.
D-Did I just ascend three minor ranks higher?
Previously, she was at the Awakener Rank 3, but now she perceived her energy was already on Awakener Rank 6. It was simply because of how much her soul expanded. She could now contract another beast pet.
Although it was indeed preferable to greed for another beast pet, any other beast tamer would suggest otherwise, especially if their beast pet's potential was higher.
