She rested the sword she called Xuanyuan against her shoulder as golden and silver particles swirled around her. Guinaifen was stunned by the special effects. Did her friend really have a hidden trump card up her sleeve?
Shape of Taixu? She had never seen Sushang use anything like that before.
"Phoenix, manifest!" Sushang shouted with absolute confidence.
She pointed the tip of her blade forward, the entire sword enveloped in a sharp, golden radiance.
"A Phoenix? Isn't that a legendary divine beast?" Guinaifen marveled. "Sushang, were you actually this amazing all along?"
But just as she was sighing in admiration, the next second happened.
An indescribably large, white, fat chicken appeared on the screen. Flapping its tiny wings, it charged toward the enemy with terrifying momentum. As it drew near, it leaped high into the air.
Duang!
It sat right down, landing its massive backside squarely on the enemy's head.
"???"
"Pfft..."
"This... this is a Phoenix?"
"I might be uneducated, but don't lie to me!"
