Sunnie paused as she stared at him. Her eyes stiffened with her expression while she felt her heart beating faster.
For some reason, she didn't know why she suddenly got nervous. She didn't know what was running through his mind, and she had a feeling that it wasn't that casual.
The smile on his face and those teasing eyes were enough to say so. But she simply sat there, staring with her gleaming eyes.
He smiled as he said, "What I want is actually not that much." He leaned close to her, enough for her to feel his breath wash all over her. "I just want you to bear my cub... Sunnie."
Sunnie stiffened for some time. She could simply tell that her mind had disassociated for the moment. She had heard his request—she was sure she had heard him clearly.
But then again, she couldn't find herself processing it as soon as possible. She needed time at least to absorb it all as she stared at him in shock.
