Chapter 4 - Arrival of Prototype

The abandoned factory was silent except for the sound of dripping water and rusted chains moving in the cold air. Broken machines stood like dead giants in the darkness.

Miki held Maria's hand tightly as they moved backward.

Several kidnappers slowly surrounded them.

Maria tried to aim her gun, but her last bullet was already gone.

Maria: "Miki… we're trapped."

Miki did not answer. His breathing became slow. His eyes lowered, and he quietly whispered a prayer.

The kidnappers stepped closer.

One of them smiled and raised his weapon.

Then—

A strange pressure filled the air.

The lights above flickered violently.

For one second, everything became silent.

And in the next moment, the kidnappers collapsed one by one.

Their weapons fell to the floor with metallic sounds.

Maria froze.

Maria: "What… happened?"

Miki slowly looked upward.

Above them, on one of the iron beams near the ceiling, a figure stood in absolute silence.

Tall. Dark. Motionless.

A black coat moved slightly in the cold air.

One glowing yellow eye appeared from the darkness.

It was Prototype.

Maria stepped back immediately.

But Prototype did not move aggressively.

He simply watched.

As if confirming that Miki was unharmed.

Miki's eyes widened.

For a moment, he felt something strange—something familiar.

Not fear.

A connection.

Prototype slowly jumped down.

The heavy sound echoed across the factory floor.

Maria instinctively moved behind Miki.

Prototype looked directly at Miki.

His voice was low, mechanical, but calm.

Prototype: "You should not have come here alone."

Miki stared.

There was no hatred in that voice.

Only warning.

Only concern.

Miki: "You… saved us?"

Prototype remained silent for a few seconds.

Then he looked at the unconscious kidnappers.

Prototype: "They saw too much."

Miki noticed something unusual.

Prototype's eyes were not looking at him like a stranger.

It felt deeper.

As if Prototype already knew him.

Far above, thunder rolled outside.

And inside the factory, the truth between Experiment 1965 and Experiment 1966 had begun to wake.
