The serum worked fine. I didn't realise that it'll bring tears to Melina.
She cried without sound. Tears just kept coming from her eyes.
Priscilla and I decided to leave her alone.
"I didn't expect that."
Priscilla said as we entered the elevator. I looked at her without saying anything because neither one of us expected Melina to cry.
"She must really wanted--. No, she really NEEDED the serum."
When you look at the overall life of Melina, I guess so.
"According to what she's been through. She really needed something of her own."
"Can you tell me what she's been through?"
Well, let's just mention the surface information.
"Someone removed her uterus when she was a child, forced her to become an assassin, had to pretend to have a family, had to watch his daughter get taken in front of her eyes, had to do some atrocious things to others just for them to not be done onto her, and the important thing is that she has no place to call home besides that place."
Wait, are Marvel female characters all lost their home, chased out of their home, have nowhere to belong besides an organisation of some kind, or got kidnapped or something?
Or they become a victim of some hero's shenanigans.
Even those that have a home get involved with something.
If they have a nice life in this universe, some authors will make them have a terrible life in the other universes.
What a world?
Wait, that means there's a universe where I'm dumb or a villain? Yeah, it ain't me.
"WHAT!"
Yeah, it's shocking if you think about it.
"She's an assassin."
Oh, you were shocked by that part.
"Didn't I tell you? I must've forgot."
"NO! You didn't tell me anything. What is she here for?"
"Didn't I tell you that she came to kill me?"
"No! You only told me her name."
If I think about it, she's right. I forgot to tell her.
"Anyway, let the past be the past."
Afterwards, Priscilla kept shouting at me for not telling her. She talked a lot that I was putting her in danger without giving her all the information.
I decided to check the candidates that were training. SPACE is the one who checks all their work.
If SPACE was a human, she would've complained a lot about her tasks.
I gotta lessen her tasks.
Before I forget.
"SPACE, where would be the location or base of O.S.E.O.N.G?"
«What about that village where a single individual slaughtered everyone there?»
"Nah, SHIELD and Hydra would probably find it easily."
«Why is that?»
"Because the man that slaughtered that village was doing something for someone. If I remember, his daughter was stolen by SHIELD agents and his wife was killed by, probably SHIELD agents too."
«What does Hydra have anything to do with that?»
"Because SHIELD doesn't kill civilians. Those agents were probably Hydra in disguise."
«I understand, sir. Can I request something?»
"What is it?"
«Can you build your own satellites or buy satellites? It's getting suspicious to hack into other satellites, and it's a lot of work.»
"I thought you don't get tired."
«I don't, but still.»
"It's a lot of time to build a satellite, and who would sell satellit--- Stark. Stark Industries can sell that, or I can just commission Richards to build it for me. Man, I gotta go to New York. Okay, what about the base?"
«You can buy unoccupied land or look for an abandoned town or city and build the base there.»
"Good thinking."
That was set.
Melina left the building a while ago, which I didn't say anything about.
I wrapped up today's work and let everyone go home. I told DRIVE to take Priscilla to her home.
Everything went smoothly.
The following day, nobody was supposed to come to the headquarters, and so I got busy.
I called Lauren to ask how she's doing, and she's been having a hard time because she has to do everything by herself, which I understand.
I gave her a heads-up that some people might come next week or by the end of the week.
I called the company that provides access control machines to install machines in the law firm, headquarters, and factory.
I wanted to install toll gate access machines that have biometric scans in them. If you forget your access card, you can use your employee number and fingerprint.
In the headquarters and law firm, I want to install the waist-height ones, while in the factory I want to install full-height ones with walkthrough metal detectors.
That's a lot of work, but I gotta do it.
Now I gotta hire security guards.
I ordered two access card machines online, and they arrived in the afternoon. I modified the other one.
The one that's modified is for the organisation, and the other is for the business.
The one that's modified would produce access cards that can get anyone in, and the other would just get inside the factory, law firm, and headquarters, but there'll be restrictions.
The organisation card would just show the organisation name, while the business access card would show the basics: Company Name, Full Name, Employee Number, and Work Position.
Melina arrived in the afternoon at the headquarters and waited there. At this point, I might as well meet her face to face.
I tested NAPS, and it was working fine.
"This is boring."
«Why is it boring, sir? I mean NAPS can protect you well.»
"I know that. I'm talking about the transformation."
«The transformation is quick and doesn't waste time.»
"That's boring. I need something like Gundam or Power Rangers transformation."

Anyway, I took the organisation access card and OC ring. I decided to go to the headquarters myself.

While I was driving the car, I realised something, or more like remembered something. I gotta change parts in this car. I gotta make every part automatic or buy another car, then upgrade that one.
I arrived near Melina.
"Wow, I didn't expect you'll come yourself. Wait, are you even here?"
I walked towards her, 2 feet away from her.
"Yeah. I'm here."
