The secretary suddenly paused, acting like he had just noticed Alex. "Oh… Mr Brent hello".
Alex hurriedly stood up to greet him as well. This man was not just a secretary, he was the face of Mr Metzler, any time the president couldn't be present, this was his well known representative.
"I'll come back some other time" the secretary glanced at the president as he spoke, seeing his nod, he packed his things and excused himself.
"You said Thomas is aware of this… am I correct?"
"Yes President, he is very much aware".
"Ohk. That's that then. Let's sign the contract. By the way, you haven't put a figure up".
Alex galnced at the paper in front of him, wondering what price he should ask for. Suddenly, he remembered what the secretary said when he came in just now. The mine was deeper and wider than estimated.
This contract has clearly been prepared before he came so, whatever changes occured wasn't included.
