After a few minutes, Madeline was finally released. She walked out of the prison with a huge smile. "Finally"
"Wait Madeline, we still need to talk" Bryan spoke, stopping her from entering her car. The police had rolled it on the way from the factory.
Just then, the old man and his family strode out. "It's not over yet… we'll see".
Madeline snorted as they walked away. At the start, she was quite sorry even going as far as offering compensation from her hard earned money but the family was adamant on sending her to prison.
After she walks in on him with the cast, all the feelings she previously had flew out the window. She no longer felt sorry for any of them. What ever they hoped to achieve was gone.
The man's son slammed his hand on the steering wheel staring viciously at Madeline standing close to her car.
"We should have just accepted the compensation at first, or choose to settle. Now we didn't even get a medical compensation". The old man's daughter said angrily.
