The government had tried to demolish the whole place and transform it to a tourist spot since it was close to the sea but the tenants and owners didn't want money. They proposed instead, to be moved to a better place provided by the government.
Their needs could not be met so the demolition had been put off for years, more tenants came in as that place had cheap rent for standard apartments.
The only downside was it was inhabitable during rainy season as a house can be washed away while the owners are asleep.
"Alright" Madeline nodded. Without asking any questions, she drove off.
The bald goon watched as the car drove way going further and further, then stood up, threw out some curse words as he roared pointing at the car "Jim, you Pig… just you wait".
Both Jim and the lady made him loose face in front of his underlings today. He couldn't touch the lady as he recognised the car she drove but that was not the same for Jim.
