"Anytime," Michael replied dispassionately into the microphone, as though Silas's threat were nothing more than a passing breeze.
Over at the hospital, Silas Vane held a scalpel in his hand, venting his frustration on a plastic medical mannequin as if it were Michael, making quick, precise incisions into the rubber torso.
"Michael Thorn, just you wait: I'm going to find someone to deal with you!" Silas hissed. Damned guy! Is he even my brother?! How could he set me up like this again!
Earlier, his grandfather had marched straight into the hospital, swinging his walking stick and thrashing Silas's legs. When the Old Man learned that Silas was dodging marriage, he went so far as to wreck Silas's private research laboratory in a fit of rage!
Evelyn Sin paused mid-bite. What does any of this have to do with me? Did my fake amnesia stunt trigger Michael to start retaliating against Silas Vane too?
