God. Something was terribly fucked up. He can't think his mind is very hazy right now. Not in the sense of existential dread, but the type of feeling like you know your fucked and have been already. His left leg aches, but he can't open his eyes. Something is blocking his vision. I clench my leg, and from what I can feel it was twisted in ways I never imagined a leg could twist. It's like some messed up twister game.
Jason suddenly feels himself fall down to the ground and he barely catches himself, his hands being the only barrier between him and the ground. Now that he thinks about it, his whole body is in so much pain, what the fuck happened to him?
He moves his hand down his leg sliding down the broken leg. He didn't have any enemies back home, and so it-
"AGH" a yell escapes Jason as he touches where his calf part of his leg would be but, oh my god. His hand dug into a cut open hole which was in his leg and he felt the pain of touching it. His heart begins to beat rapidly inside his chest, what could've happened to him, who would've done this.
His hand moves from his injured leg to his face; they meet a rough gritty thing covering his eyes. He pauses, could his eyes be injured too? Would this even help him? But he carries on nonetheless, and his thumbs go through the film almost too effortlessly.
He flicks it off, and realizes he's gained his vision back. He rapidly blinks his eyes, and slowly the world around him returns to him. The first thing he can describe seeing is, that there is oh. A horrified gasp escapes his lips.
Blood. There's blood everywhere. He breathes in and out as if it's his very last. He further gathers his environment by looking around more, he's in the middle of a deep crater the ground is high above him about ten feet from what he can gather.
DRIP. DRIP. DRIP.
The sounds of his blood dripping down onto the ground awake him from his mesmerization about his situation. His body swings back and forth in an attempt to stay balanced. "Hrrf, ffeww." He hears the sound of his heavy breaths escape him. What he would give to be back in his bed right about now.
He looks down at his hands, and sees them filled with cuts and bruises all over. What happened to him? As he twists his hands his leg slightly moves causing immense pain to spread from that region of his body to the rest. "GAH!" He falls down in pain, but makes sure to not actively touch the leg.
His vision blurs again, and the mind becomes foggy once more, his thoughts slowly evaporating. The body, he did not tell it to move but it began crawling out of the crater. Jason is pretty sure there's a trail of blood behind him. He reaches the top and his adrenaline kicks in. The city, he doesn't know which is destroyed there's so many buildings that are completely destroyed.
Jason's breath hitches, is it his vision becoming more blurry? No, it couldn't be real. A man, off in the far far distance by the edge of the city, is hovering in the air. Suddenly, they move akin to a cannonball. There's no arc, and it's not falling from being in the air.
This is purposeful, the thing goes straight through the building cutting into it and exiting as quickly as he fell into it.
He blinks, and it's just gone. The monster disappeared, and nothing happened to the building? Maybe it was in his mind after al-.
BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM
A hole appears in the skyscraper. Jason's breath hitches as he watches, the skyscraper's windows shatter all at once, an awful screech of the glass breaking echoes. Smoke comes from where the hole appeared, and the building begins to collapse. The steel bended, the upper halves of the building bend in ways they shouldn't.
Oh god. Is that a person? From what Jason can see there's a black silhouette of a person falling out of the skyscraper. Jason has to do something, he finds himself picking his leg up and almost on instinct as he was in the crater he is now catching the person falling.
Shit! What was that?! He hits the ground, skitting across the destroyed street, ruining flying from the ground into the buildings, and road like. He clutches unto the person he saved, in an attempt to save them from their fate.
He finally stops skitting across the street, almost ramming into what looked like a hotel. Raspy is the best word to describe his breathing. Turning, he looks around his surroundings and sees nothing but destruction and death.
He still can't believe what happened to that building in that, oh crap! The person! He looks down, and puts a smile on his face closing his eyes saying "Hey? Are you okay? I-I don't know how exactly I did that my leg is in a lot of pain right now so I'm going to put you down okay?"
He expects a thank you, or even crying, or a "put me down" like he has seen in a lot of superhero films in the past. There's none of that only, unbearable quiet silence.
He opens his eyes, and what he sees horrifies him to his core. The person, now what seems to be a woman in her mid 20's was motionless, and her body horrified him the most. She was not whole, Jason's arms had sliced through her like cake.
His knees give in, falling on the ground he doesn't look at the body but it rolls out of his grasp onto the ground. The murderer looks at his hands in horror.
Blood. There's so much blood.
So much that he can't comprehend. "G-gahhhhhhh!"
Jason begins to uncontrollably sob at what he's done.
