Tessa's pulse thrummed heavily as the weight of the system's demand settled over her. Her body was already burning from the heat cycle that had hit her again, making her skin sensitive and her thoughts hazy with need. She turned to the four men who had become her world — Valen, Julian, Zephyr, and Zane — and spoke in a low, steady voice.
