Christopher was still worried.
In the end, Janice couldn't do anything but be cute.
"Honey, please. I promise I'll come back safe and sound."
Her coquettish tone made him completely defenseless. In the end, he compromised.
"Keep in touch with me at all times. Tell me straight away if you need something."
"Okay." Janice agreed.
Early the next morning, she packed up her luggage and left.
Yvonne's car was waiting at the door. Christopher sent Janice out and held her in his arms, reluctant to let go.
"Are you really willing to leave me?"
Janice was speechless. She would only go there for two days.
She said, "Didn't we agree last night?"
Christopher thought, "But I'm still reluctant to part with you."
However, he also knew that Janice was determined to go. So he said in resignation, "You must call me when you arrive."
