Janice remained silent.
Sophie sneered and said, "That maid mysteriously disappeared. I wonder what's going to happen to you now?"
As Sophie spoke, she shot a sinister glance at Janice, then smiled mockingly before turning and walking off.
Janice clenched her fists and stared. "You think you can sow discord between him and I just like that?"
Hearing this, Sophie stopped in her tracks and turned around to look with a fleeting smile.
Janice continued. "Don't even think about it. It's impossible!"
Sophie ridiculed instead. "Then let's wait and see."
Sophie left and Janice didn't stay any longer either.
As soon as Yvonne saw Janice walk out, she greeted her. "How was it? Did you fight back?"
Yvonne's eyes were filled with anticipation.
"Sorry to disappoint you." Janice shrugged.
