Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: Do You Really Want to Die That Badly?!

Black Watch.

In this fucked-up galaxy, this name might just be a very simple Astra Militarum designation.

Yet upon seeing it, Sith couldn't help but think of another human organization from his memories in another life.

One composed entirely of ordinary people, yet it beat all the monsters and demons of his own world until they cried for their mothers.

At this moment, the title of this strongest Mortal unit seemed to have coincidentally fallen upon Sith, along with the name "Black Watch".

"Alright, the designation has been delivered. Lord Sith, please take your Black Watch and prepare for liftoff."

After Davi Luo finished speaking, the door in front of them opened.

Bruno and Ana entered, and the roar of dense transport aircraft jets blew a gust of wind through the door.

"My Lord, Lord Calgar has officially challenged the rebel leader to a duel. Orders have now been issued requiring all boarding teams to enter space immediately and prepare to attack the enemy flagship."

Bruno said quickly while wearing storm armor, and Davi Luo also picked up his helmet from a table nearby and silently put it on.

Ana walked in quickly, stood in front of the power armor, and said with a serious face:

"Sith... my Lord..."

Ana was still not quite used to the change in how she addressed Sith, but she still recited the honorific.

"I will now help you don your armor, my Lord."

Ana had been completely assigned as Sith's accompanying Tech-Priest, which counted as a reward from the Adeptus Mechanicus to Sith.

It was also a gesture of support for Calgar's decision.

Looking at Davi Luo, Bruno, and Ana in front of him, and the officers standing in several rows further outside, all of whom had replaced their shoulder pads with the new Black Watch insignia, the roar of the transport aircraft felt like an urging!

A few minutes later, a Mortal clad in dark silver power armor, holding a master-crafted Bolter in his left hand and an elegant power sword in his right, walked through the densely packed officers.

Behind him were a tall Deathwatch, a burly adjutant cradling a machine gun, and a Tech-Priest dressed in gear-adorned red robes.

A large number of transport aircraft were docked in the middle of the massive hangar, and further out were tens of thousands of elite Mortal Legion soldiers, arranged in several phalanxes, all wearing black, fully sealed combat suits.

At this moment, everyone's eyes were fixed on Sith, waiting for their commander to act.

Sith looked at the people in front of him, and his gaze then followed the high altitude toward the distant frontline of the Hyberia Hive Sector.

There were dense Warp energy fluctuations at the frontline, and the fierce battlefield had actually ceased due to the duel between two giant figures, one black and one blue.

The urgings from the Departmento Munitorum on the comms grew more and more frantic; although Calgar was powerful, he was still at a distinct disadvantage against Abaddon.

Facing Calgar's near-death experiences several times, the Departmento Munitorum had even anxiously begun to let the vanguard units initiate boarding actions against the Chaos Fleet ships.

There was no need for words, and wasting time was not allowed. Looking at this group of Black Watch that had been formed only minutes ago, Sith took the lead and stepped into the transport aircraft!

Accompanied by the roar of the engines at full power, the cabin began to shake violently.

There were no portholes in the cabin to see outside at all; everyone was just stuffed into a can, feeling their bodies being tossed left and right by the massive jolts.

Strapped to metal supports, every jolt and impact brought a wave of bruising pain.

Although there was no view outside the steel cabin, as they continued to ascend, dense artillery fire exploded around the cabin.

The entire space was "quiet"; everyone was silent, and apart from the trembling and groaning of the cabin, there was only the endless bursting of artillery fire.

Finally, perhaps by the grace of the Golden Throne, or perhaps the Brass Throne, the transport aircraft carrying Sith arrived safely at a relatively quiet cargo bay.

But when the cabin door opened, there was no welcoming ceremony; there was only a row of boarding craft that had been waiting for a long time, and crew members with anxious faces, urging them desperately.

"Hurry! If you don't hurry, we'll have died in vain later!"

The crew had accepted their fate as a matter of course; after all, having the remnants of the Imperial Navy attack a battle-ready Chaos Fleet had no outcome other than certain death.

Now, these "abandoned" crew members would only cast calm gazes when facing Sith's group of strange, black-clad Astra Militarum.

After all, compared to their own quick end later, Sith and his men, who were about to be launched, would not have it so easy!

Sith looked at the completely enclosed cabin around him. In the narrow space, he couldn't even tell what class of Imperial warship he was on.

There was only the roar of macro-cannons transmitted through the ship's hull from outside, and the slight trembling of the entire warship under the massive recoil.

Sith withdrew his gaze, felt a sudden violent shake of the warship beneath his feet, and heard the groan of the hull from a massive impact. He quickly steadied his footing and, under the crew's instantly pale faces, walked quickly into the boarding craft.

The warship had already begun to move with irregular, twisting motions. Facing the little bit of free space left in the boarding craft, Sith looked at the despairing crew member outside the door.

He reached out to invite the other person, but the crew member was stunned when he saw Sith actually inviting him.

The crew member suddenly pressed the launch button. At the moment the boarding craft shot out, Sith saw the crew member, before the flames could scorch him, smiling and declining the "good intention" while simultaneously pulling the trigger on his own head.

Even more violent shaking, even more intense artillery fire.

Around the hull, there were dense, fine impacts from unknown debris. Staying in the boarding craft, Sith felt that his backside hadn't even stayed quietly in his seat for a single second.

If not for the metal supports firmly fixing him to the hull, Sith didn't know what he would have been tossed into inside the cabin.

Until a violent impact came, and everyone was instantly thrown forward by the massive inertia.

Feeling the intense bruising against his shoulders from the supports, amidst the harsh, piercing sound of metal grinding, the boarding craft finally began to slow down, and the sounds outside finally quieted down.

The supports suddenly sprang open before the door opened. Before Bruno and the others could even pick up their weapons, the door, already deformed from the violent impact, swung wide open.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Sith and Davi Luo immediately pulled their triggers at the doorway, and a dozen cultist crew members who were preparing to open fire were knocked to the ground by Bolter fire.

Jumping down from the deformed cabin, and looking at the terrified crew members fleeing ahead, Davi Luo finally stopped holding back. With anger from the depths of his heart, he roared:

"Steel within, steel without!"

"Purge the traitors!"

After Davi Luo finished speaking, he was about to pick up his Bolter and launch a final charge, but just as he took a step forward, a power sword struck the back of his head from behind.

The spirited Davi Luo instantly collapsed. Bruno and the others, who were about to follow Davi Luo with red eyes to sacrifice themselves for the God-Emperor, were instantly stunned, staring wide-eyed at Sith, who had knocked Davi Luo unconscious.

The crowd was dumbfounded. Sith looked around, then pointed in another direction:

"Go seize the enemy's boarding craft!"

Boarding craft?

The crowd was stunned, and Bruno asked in bewilderment:

"We are already on the enemy ship, where else can we board?"

"Board the Imperial warship!"

Everyone: "...???"

Seeing that the crowd couldn't react, Sith gritted his teeth helplessly, and then suddenly roared at the crowd:

"What? Do you really want to die that badly, damn it?!"
