3rd Pov:
Kuusetsu stood unmoving as her gaze switched between the clones, processing her next move.
She clenched her fists and closed her eyes as her body began to shift slightly before her hair flowed behind her in a sort of messy way, but still beautiful, and the horns on her forehead extended upwards.
The air around her was completely different, more oppressive, more divine.
Naruhime's eyebrows twitched at the obvious change done to her sister, not only in appearance but inside as well.
Even Shikoku shot a satisfactory glance toward her youngest sibling as she drank her juice while raking her fingers through the wolf's fur.
She slowly opened her eyes, revealing her black sclerae and blue irises as a proud smile blossomed on her face. "Truly a wonderful feeling to let loose", she muttered under her breath; her voice had a noticeable allure to it.
The clones shifted around in their positions, their eyes carefully analysing Kuusetsu's new form while deliberately wasting as much time as possible for another clone to be born.
Kuusetsu quickly realised it a few seconds later as her eyes widened slightly before she blasted off at the Construction clone.
The construction clone immediately created a broad shield, but Kuusetsu saw it coming as she leapt over the clone and wrapped a water whip around its neck before landing behind him and swinging him over her head and down on the floor in front of her.
The disaster tides clone moved to intervene as compressed water balls appeared in his palms, then threw them up before pointing them down at Kuusetsu.
The orbs of water tore through the air towards Kuusetsu. She glanced at them before her lips crept upwards.
The balls of water phased through her and smashed into the construction clone, sending him blasting into a rock wall as dust and debris were kicked up.
Kuusetsu charged at the surprised Distaer tides clone, her fist connecting with his face. The clone was sent skidding across the ground, leaving small trenches.
The clone and Kuusetsu charged at one another before they clashed with their forearms, each of them trying to overpower the other.
Curse energy coated the clone's arms, and at the same time, Kuusetsu coated her own arm in her energy. One, a flickering red flame flowing chaotically yet stably, and the other, a calm blue river flowing steadily around her arm.
They jumped away from one another before clapping their hands together and firing a compressed beam of water.
The beams of water clashed with one another before Kuusestu's was disconnected, before the beam travelled towards her, but she was nowhere to be seen.
The disaster clone blinked several times as he frantically looked around. He didn't notice Kuusetsu coming up from the ground behind him before she smashed her fist into his back and sent a shockwave through him.
The clone's body rolled and bounced off the hard rock before stabilising itself by a soft water wall.
Kuusetsu jumped into the air as she waved her feather-tipped kimono; pale white feathers tore through the air towards the disaster tides clone.
The disaster tides clone sprinted around the chamber as barrages of pale feathers smashed close behind him.
The construction clone slowly stumbled out, using the fallen debris to stabilise itself. His eyes went to Kuusetsu, firing volleys at his fellow clone.
The clone quickly created a bolt-action sniper rifle before aiming it at Kuusetsu's right shoulder. He pulled the trigger as a loud bang echoed off the walls of the chamber before a cursed bullet tore through her shoulder. She cried out in pain and fell to the ground as dust was kicked up.
Both the disaster tide and the construction clone rushed towards Kuusetsu's body as it staggered up. Kuusetsu was then coated in slime that was excreted from her body as the wound in her shoulder closed up.
She gritted her teeth as her eyes darted to both clones coming at her before she struck a familiar pose.
"Golden Hour!" she yelled as the space around her and everyone within the vicinity of the training chamber froze and turned grey, except for Kuusetsu.
She clapped her hands together as a beam of compressed water shot out of her hand and tore through the construction clone's head.
Kuusetsu used the remaining 2 seconds to rush in front of the disaster tide clone before time resumed and smash her fist in his chest as a shockwave pulsed inside him before he was blasted away through two pillars.
Large amounts of dust and debris were kicked up as Kuusetsu watched the aftermath of her attack. She wiped beads of sweat from her forehead before glancing down at her hand.
'I used too much energy in stopping time and that shockwave; I need better control over my abilities, ' she thought as she clenched her hand.
The air was blown back as a tornado made of water erupted from where the disaster tide clone crashed. Kuusetsu's kimono fluttered violently against the wind before she vanished as orbs of compressed wall smashed wherever she stepped.
Kuusetsu kept nimbly dodging all the attacks as she tried to think of something to stop the tornado. But all she could think of was freezing time.
'I need to keep steady control over it. Otherwise, I would probably be frozen or drained of my energy, ' she thought as she took a breath.
"Golden hour!" she yelled as the world turned grey and froze. Kuusetsu stood frozen, but the rise and the fall of her chest indicated her success and her taking it all in.
She vanished from her spot and appeared in front of the frozen tornado before placing a hand over it as she sent a shockwave throughout the tornado, and she vanished and appeared on a ledge overlooking the tornado.
Colour slowly formed over everything, and time resumed. The tornado violently shook before bursting open as water sprayed everywhere, leaving the tired disaster clone breathing heavily on his knees in a damp rocky area.
Without wasting a second, Kuusetsu blurred behind him and pierced her hand through the back of his head before throwing his limp body aside.
She let out the breath she was holding in as her transformation reverted to her usual self, though with messy hair.
She turned her gaze to Xicor, who stood unmoving with his arms crossed and a pleased smile on his face. Kuusetsu gave him a thumbs up and a toothy grin.
He leapt down from his spot and in front of Kuusetsu before petting her head as she leaned into it. Xicor continued to pet the goddess before stepping back.
"Well done, Kuusetsu, I'd say you pass, but you still need to master that control of yours. Once you've done that, you'll be ready for the human world once everything is set, and I'll be going with you for extra precautions", He said.
"But there's something I'd like to ta-" Xicor said before a pair of arms wrapped themselves around his chest and something soft pressed against his back.
"Mine!" Naruhime yelled as both of them disappeared in a spark of electricity.
Kuusetsu stood unmoving as she blinked several times, "..."
"Did I just get robbed?!" she screamed as the ground shook before a soft hand was placed on her shoulder.
Turning around, she was faced with her big sister's face. "Big sis Shikoku~ Big sis Naruhime robbed my consort from me~", she whined as tears formed at the corner of her eyes.
She dropped to her knees in defeat as Shikoku stroked her head while trying her hardest to hide the smile on her face.
"There~ There~ it will be alright, once you two are in the human world, he's all yours since it will only be you two~" she said as Kuusetsu's eyes lit up.
"You're right! I'll soon have my turn, and it will be the longest there is!" she declared haughtily before laughing hysterically.
Shikoku covered her mouth, but a giggle escaped her lips.
Naruhime was blasting through the halls with Xicor, her arms before her eyes widened for a second. They came to a stop and blasted off in different directions away from Xicor's room and towards the bath.
Naruhime smashed open the door before shutting and locking; her breathing was slightly heavy, and her eyes refused to look at Xicor.
Xicor straightened himself as he cracked his neck. "Good to see you, Naruhime", he started before Naruhime rushed into him and enveloped him in a hug, while burying her face in the crook of his neck as Xicor wrapped his own arms around her.
Silence overcame the changing room as neither one of them moved, only embracing each other's warmth.
"...I've missed you..." she said, her voice muffled against Xicor's chest.
"Same here, I kind of missed your antics", he replied with a light chuckle.
"And the times when we sparred", he continued, "All of you hold a special place in me; you hold the chaotic side"
Her arms tightened around him before she pulled back and crashed her lips against his. Her tongue danced with his own as he responded, as he pulled he closer.
Naruhime pulled back with a string of saliva connected to her lips and her consort, "As much as I want to take here and now, I don't want to stink when we do it", she said.
Xicor was about to reassure her, but she placed a finger on his lips. "Plus, I get to spend more time with you", she said with a soft smile
She removed her finger and clasped his hand in both of hers. "Come on, I don't want to wait any longer"
Xicor let out a slow, contented breath as the warm water cascaded over his body with a towel over his waist, washing the hidden grime and tension that had accumulated throughout the day.
Thin wisps of steam rose from the bath, curling lazily through the air before dissolving into nothingness.
Beside Xicor, Naruhime rested contentedly against him, her head nestled against his shoulder as the warm water gently rippled around them. She instinctively leaned closer, seeking his warmth, the thin towel wrapped around her doing little more to hide her voluptuous figure.
A quiet, satisfied hum escaped the goddess as Xicor draped an arm around her shoulders, drawing her comfortable in his embrace.
"How has life been without me?" Xicor asked softly, breaking the comfortable silence.
Naruhime let out an exaggerated sigh, pouting as she looked up at him.
"Torturous, to say the least," she replied. "The only person I can truly spar with is Big sister Taikyoku... and she rarely has the time"
Her expression brightened with a mischievous smile.
"Oh... and it seems you've caught the attention of another goddess."
Xicor raised an eyebrow, "...Jaku'un?"
Naruhime nodded, "Jaku'un"
He chuckled to himself, "Saw that coming with how close she stuck to me while I was doing a job for Shikoku"
"Mn-hm", she traced his chest with her finger. "Your habit of collecting more of my siblings is starting to get annoying", she said quietly against his chest.
"It's not my fault", he mumbled.
She shifted in the bath until she was sitting comfortably in front of him, her hands resting lightly against his cheeks while his naturally and tenderly wrapped around her waist.
"Sure you are", she said rhetorically as she rolled her eyes, "And you're not giving any signs of rejecting them"
He let out a small sigh, "Cuz one, they are your siblings, and two... they are kind of beautiful"
A cheeky smile crept up her lips as her hands lowered to his chest as she rested her forehead on his, "Such a gentleman for being honest"
She pecked his lips before pressing her chest against his as she draped her arms on his shoulders.
"Enough about everyone", she whispered sultrily, her blue eyes meeting his crimson, "For once since our relationship... It's just you and me... no one else"
The room fell silent, with only the gentle lapping of water against the stone walls of the bath and the faint flickering of the torches attached to the walls.
Xicor smiled faintly as he tightened his hold around her slightly. "I've been looking forward to having time alone with you, you're energetic nature makes the mood brighten up", he said softly.
Her face flushed red, her eyes narrowed, and her arms wrapped around themselves around his neck. She moved her face to the crook of his neck after pressing her lips against his.
Here, there was no worry of battle, survival, or the growing need for control, simply a quiet moment between a curse and a goddess.
In the centre of Mato stood the tenth unit, its massive structure standing broad and strong with a faint visible barrier covering it.
Standing in front of it, inside the barrier, stood Kyouka Uzen and Yuuki Wakura, his shoulder tense as the grip of his master sword tightened slightly.
Even before entering it, he could feel the invisible pressure emanating from its walls, like a beast was waiting to jump out and maul him.
