Chapter 50 - Shocking—There Are Three Raiden Shoguns

When the Electro energy erupted, most of the audience inside the inn were ordinary people, but they too heard the thunder outside. They rushed out.

Outside the inn, everyone looked up at the sky and saw a shocking sight.

In the heavens, countless bolts of Electro energy flashed like scars tearing across the sky.

But what stunned everyone most was what that elemental power was forming.

A human body.

Many of the stronger individuals present could tell—this coalescing Electro energy was not forming an elemental being but a genuine human form.

And they could already make out its features.

It looked familiar.

"She looks exactly like that woman sitting across from the Anemo Archon—"

"What's going on?"

"Can someone tell me who caused this?"

"I heard some Fatui have entered Liyue recently. Could it be them causing trouble?"

The crowd buzzed with speculation.

They could only see that the figure in the sky looked exactly like the Raiden Shogun. Fortunately, they still did not know her true identity.

But then, Raiden Ei, who had emerged from Musou Isshin, could wait no longer.

She seized the blade and walked into the sky.

The crowd saw Ei ascending, then looked at the Raiden Shogun standing beside Zhongli, then at the figure forming in the sky.

They were utterly bewildered.

All three looked identical—not just their clothes, but even the smallest details, down to the beauty mark at the corner of their eyes.

Were they triplets?

Even Keqing, one of the Liyue Qixing, could not make sense of the situation. She could only watch and wait.

Meanwhile, Ei walked across the sky to Makoto.

Seeing that familiar face, feeling that familiar Electro energy, she called out:

"Sister—"

"Is it truly you?"

Even Ei, the Electro Archon herself, found this scene too surreal.

Yet it was happening before her eyes.

As if hearing Ei's voice, the figure coalescing from Electro energy opened its eyes.

Feeling the lightning flickering around her, she looked around in confusion.

When Makoto saw Ei, a flood of memories rushed into her mind.

"Ei, Khaenri'ah has fallen. Don't worry about me. Go back and protect Inazuma."

"No—this isn't Khaenri'ah. Where is this?"

Makoto's memories were still frozen centuries ago, at the fall of Khaenri'ah.

She had died in Ei's arms.

But now, to her astonishment, all her wounds were healed.

As Makoto fully revived, the flickering lightning around her faded, and the gathered Electro energy slowly dispersed.

Across from her, Ei heard her sister's familiar voice.

She did not understand how this had happened, but in this moment, she finally believed.

Her sister had truly returned.

Ei, who had always been strong, who had pursued eternity for so long, felt a tear form at the corner of her eye.

"Sister, you've truly come back."

"This isn't Inazuma. This is Liyue Harbor, five hundred years in the future."

"I kept my promise to you. I protected Inazuma."

Ei rushed forward and embraced Makoto, crying like a little girl.

Makoto's face showed even more confusion. She comforted Ei while looking down at her surroundings.

She saw the vast Wangshu Inn.

She saw the great dragon Dvalin lying on the cliff.

Among the crowd, she saw her old acquaintances—Barbatos, the Anemo Archon, and Morax, the Geo Archon.

And she saw a puppet that looked just like her.

Was this truly five hundred years later? Was this truly Liyue Harbor?

And how had she been resurrected?

Countless questions swirled in Makoto's mind. Even as an archon, she could not make sense of it.

Then Ei spoke again. "Sister, I have found news of Brother Li Mo."

At the name Li Mo, Makoto froze, then her face lit up with joy.

"Where is he?"

"After all these years, has Brother Li Mo truly returned?"

Ei sighed, a wry smile on her face. "It's complicated."

Then she began to tell Makoto about the storyteller, about Li Mo's cycle of reincarnation, starting from the very first life.

As Makoto listened, her expression grew increasingly astonished.

How much had this world changed in the five hundred years she had been "dead"?

First her inexplicable resurrection, then these tales of reincarnation.

...

While Ei and Makoto reunited in the sky, on the ground before Wangshu Inn, the audience watched.

When they realized the terrifying power of that Electro energy, many were awestruck.

Keqing, as a wielder of an Electro Vision, understood better than most how powerful that energy had been.

Surely the one born from such power must be someone of immense strength.

After a long moment, she arrived at the only possible answer.

The woman in the sky could only be the Shogun of Inazuma—the Raiden Shogun herself.

No wonder she had been sitting beside Barbatos with such cold arrogance. It all made sense now.

But one question remained: if Barbatos and the Raiden Shogun were sitting together, why was Zhongli, a consultant from Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, sitting with them?

Keqing was baffled.

Hu Tao, beside her, saw her staring blankly and asked, "What's wrong, Keqing?"

Keqing's expression was grave. "The two in the sky should be the first Electro Archon, Raiden Makoto, and the second, Raiden Ei."

"But who is this?"

She turned to look at the Raiden Shogun standing beside Zhongli, utterly confused.

The storyteller had said the Electro Archons were twin sisters.

So why were there three of them now?

It was not only Keqing. Even the ever-playful Hu Tao, the always-composed Shenhe, and Qiqi, now restored to normal, were baffled by the three Raiden Shoguns.

Among these three women, who was who?
