DON'T READ! IT'S THE SA,ME AS THE PREVIOUS CHAPTER. STRICTLY DONE FOR UPDATE PURPOSES, WOULD BE CHANGED IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS
"And then, he peed himself…"
Everyone burst out laughing. "It was just a stare and he broke. And he calls himself an undercover officer,"
Riley was having a good time with the gang. Hammer (Harris) would act as her brother while he is actually her cover officer. It was no longer Mrs Miller. They were going through some key words to specify some things for the mission.
"Any mission I've been given always ends up successful. This cannot be an exception,"
"You got it boss," Riley's phone rang as she spoke. It was Barry. "Hey Barry, is there any…?"
"The boss requested you meet young miss at a restaurant in five minutes,"
"He doesn't know I left now, does he?"
"Don't worry I covered for you,"
"Oh thank you so much,"
"No worries, just be on your way back. I can't cover for you that long," And with that, the call ended.
"Guys I got to go," Riley said
"No problem," "Go do your thing" "Have a safe journey back"
Hammer escorted her out of the building and exchanged numbers before she left.

"I'm looking for, um… I don't really know his name. But he works here. He's dark skinned, tall, wears glasses, not british…" Skylar tried her best to describe the 'cappuccino' man.
"Is it…" The receptionist enquired "Him,"
She pointed to the 'cappuccino' man who was walking towards them with a cleaning bucket and mop. He had his shirt sleeves rolled up to his upper arm, the perspiration made him even look more attractive, the headphones around his neck gave off a cool vibe, and the glasses framed his face like they were customized for him…and wait! He worked as a cleaner?!
"Don't worry Blaire I'll take it from here,"
Was it just me or did his voice sound deeper and more soothing in the afternoon.
"What are you doing here?" He whispered-shouted
"What am I doing here?" Skylar asked again.
"Uh…yeah?"
"You forgot to pay for your cappuccino this morning,"
"Really?" He dipped his hand into his back pocket and brought out some money "Here, this should be enough. Now leave, I'm not supposed to be caught slacking on duty,"
"Yeah, what a job!"
She saw a frown spread across his face and realised what she had just said.
"I get it, I'm a cleaner. It's a very embarrassing job especially if you're a male. Now, if you're done mocking me you can kindly leave," He walked away after saying that.
"I–I didn't mean it like that," Skylar said but he walked faster. Skylar walked out of the bank when she saw the stares some people gave her. They most have overheard her discussion. She looked at the money in her hand and counted it. She sighed as she walked away, he had given her excess.

"Mr Marcello, I genuinely apologise for coming late…" Riley was interrupted by a throat-clearing. She had bowed immediately she entered the room where Mr Marcello and his daughter was supposed, and rendered her well-rehearsed apology. She hadn't taken note that he wasn't there and it was only his daughter.
"Where is your father?"
"He left. Said he had some important meeting to attend. I've been waiting for you for over 30 minutes. Don't you think you need to apologise for it?"
"Pardon my inexcusable offence, your majesty"
"You're mocking me!"
"I got to know that your dad paid for a spa day. Why aren't you at the spa? And isn't this the manager's office?"
"I don't like spas. It too…girly"
"But you're a girl. Come on. Don't waste your dad's money!" Riley half-pulled Melanie.
"Don't force me to do this,"
"You'll love it, I promise,"
---
"I must admit, this is relaxing,"
That was from Melanie. Oddly enough, she was wrapped in an ash robe and towel on her hair. By her side was Riley in a white robe on a massage chair, sleeping in a funny position.
"I'm not sleeping," She murmured every time Melanie laughed.
Melanie was watching 'World's Funniest Falls' on the plasma TV. All these came with the premium package at the spa. To imagine Melanie had earlier wanted to forfeit it all.
---
"I've never had this much fun in ages," Melanie admitted on their ride home, "Doesn't mean I like you,"
"Trust me kid, the feeling is mutual,"
They didn't know it yet, but they had started to warm up to each other
---
When Mr Marcello came back from work, it wasn't Barry that was waiting at the door, it was Riley. Apparently Barry was a married man with two kids in college, and they needed his attention.
"Welcome back Sir," He handed her his overcoat and suitcase.
"Drop it in my study. How's Melanie?"
"I think she's sleeping, I'll check up on her before I sleep"
"In case I leave early tomorrow, please tell her I said I'm sorry,"
"Okay Sir,"
"I am going on a business trip tomorrow. I don't know the time yet. My assistant is the one booking the flight. Since Barry is not around at the moment, I'm leaving John, my driver, and Mabel the cook, in charge while I'm gone. You're closest to Melanie that's why I'm telling you this. I'm not the one to talk too much. Go and get your rest,"
"Yes Sir,"
Riley left for his study, and after that proceeded to check on Melanie.
Now, when she opened the door, she expected to see a sleeping Melanie. But what she saw shocked, but really did not shock her.
Melanie, at 11:00pm was watching a horror movie!
Riley unplugged the TV when Melanie refused to listen to her. "Do you think your dad would allow you to do this by this time?"
"I think he wouldn't care!"
