Chapter 93 - Bab 93: Round Four

The Colosseum had not fully breathed again.

The black dust that remained of Shi Morgan had vanished, swept away by the arena winds until not a single trace remained. Yet the tension of the previous duel still hung heavily in the air—sharp, suffocating, and enough to make every spectator realize that this place was not merely an arena…

but a graveyard of wills.

At the center of the arena, Lucifer stood.

His light still burned, but it was no longer majestic. His left wing was gone. Thin cracks spread across his golden aura—the scars of a battle that could not be hidden.

He did not look toward the audience.

Did not raise his sword.

Did not offer a salute.

Lucifer simply turned around and walked away.

Each step echoed softly, yet heavily, as though the Colosseum itself remembered every footprint he left behind. The right gate opened, light swallowed his figure, and then closed again with a thunderous boom.

For several seconds…

silence.

Then—

THE CROWD ERUPTED.

Not ordinary cheers.

This was the roar of thousands of beings who had just witnessed a soul collapse beneath bleeding light.

Commentator (shouting loudly):

"COLOSSEUM AUDIENCE!!"

"THE THIRD DUEL HAS COME TO AN END!!"

The cheers grew even wilder.

Commentator:

"THE WINNER OF THE THIRD DUEL…"

"…IS—"

A long pause.

"LUCIFER!!"

The right-side stands shook violently.

Cries of Lucifer's name echoed everywhere.

But from the left side, different voices rose.

Not screams of anger.

Not cries of sorrow.

But shouts of respect.

"SHI!!"

"REAPER!!"

"YOU NEVER GAVE UP!!"

The massive screen above the arena lit up, replaying the final moment of the duel—Shi Morgan standing, cracked apart, turning into dust while still staring at his opponent.

Commentator (heavy tone):

"The Reaper of the Warrior side…"

"…has fallen."

"But he fell while standing."

The bells of the Colosseum rang twice.

The vibrations spread through the entire structure of the arena.

Commentator (voice rising with excitement):

"AND NOW, COLOSSEUM AUDIENCE!!"

"PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR—"

"THE FOURTH ROUND!!"

The arena lights suddenly went out completely.

Gasps and excited screams filled the stands.

Then—

A DARK BLUE LIGHT IGNITED.

The arena floor transformed into a gigantic hologram. The sound of waves echoed deeply and heavily. Salty wind swept through the Colosseum, carrying the cold scent of the sea.

A massive holographic screen appeared in the sky.

Displaying the Mariana Trench.

Dark.

Deep.

Bottomless.

A gigantic shadow moved in the distance.

Commentator (slowly, full of pressure):

"The Fourth Round…"

"…is not merely a battle."

A massive eye opened within the darkness of the screen.

"This is a meeting…"

"…between THE RULER OF THE SEA…"

The silhouette of a gigantic serpent appeared. Its body coiled around the trench, its scales reflecting cold light.

"…AND A HUMAN…"

"…WHO HAS ALREADY DIED."

The audience instantly exploded with cheers.

Commentator:

"FROM THE SIDE OF INDAVERS!"

"THE RULER OF THE ABYSS!"

"THE ETERNAL SEA SERPENT!!"

"LEVIATHAAAN!!"

The roar of a sea monster echoed through the arena's systems. The screen displayed Leviathan moving, its endless body stretching beyond sight.

Commentator:

"AND FROM THE SIDE OF WARRIOR!"

"A HUMAN…"

"…WHO ONCE LOST HER LIFE—"

The screen changed.

Clear seawater appeared.

Blood merged with the waves.

"AND WAS BROUGHT BACK…"

"…BY THE BLOOD OF THE SEA ITSELF!!"

"AI-RI MIKAMI!!"

The left side of the stands EXPLODED WILDLY.

The left gate opened.

Airi Mikami stepped into the arena.

In her hand was a slender sword glowing with a bluish shimmer, its blade reflecting light like the calm surface of the ocean before a storm. Its hilt was simple, yet the aura surrounding it felt unnatural—as if the sword itself were alive.

Airi's black hair swayed gently. Her pale blue eyes were calm and deep, like an ocean that concealed its true depths.

Commentator:

"WATCH CAREFULLY, AUDIENCE!"

"Airi… the swordmaster!"

"And the aura of her weapon…"

"…has become one with the sea!"

The ground of the arena trembled.

The floor of the Colosseum cracked apart and sank, transforming into a vast ocean. Saltwater rose rapidly, swallowing the entire arena whole.

The Colosseum had become a gigantic sea.

Commentator (shouting):

"THE BATTLEFIELD—"

"OPEN OCEAN!!"

Without hesitation, Airi jumped.

Her body shot forward at incredible speed toward the center of the sea. The moment her feet touched the water—

she ran across the ocean's surface.

Every step created small ripples.

The audience stood up instantly.

"AIRI!!"

"GO FORWARD!!"

Airi stopped at the center.

She raised her sword.

The air suddenly fell silent.

Then—

A DOWNWARD SLASH.

The ocean SPLIT APART.

Not splashed.

Not blown away.

The water opened perfectly, forming a gigantic pathway. Towering walls of seawater rose high into the air, glittering beneath the arena lights.

HYSTERICAL CHEERS ERUPTED.

Commentator (nearly screaming):

"AMAAAZING!!"

"AIRI HAS SPLIT THE SEA WITH HER SWORD!!"

Airi stepped forward.

The water on both sides remained standing, as though bowing before her presence.

Within the water, sea life began to appear.

Small fish swam calmly.

Sea turtles drifted slowly by.

A massive shark stopped and stared—

yet did not attack.

An orca emerged, swimming beside Airi.

None of the creatures were afraid.

They escorted her.

Commentator (voice lowering in awe):

"Audience…"

"…the sea acknowledges her."

Airi continued walking, her sword still lowered calmly in her hand.

At the end of the pathway, the darkness of the abyss waited.

Two gigantic eyes opened.

A deep voice echoed from the depths.

Leviathan:

"Human…"

"…who carries the scent of death…"

The water trembled violently.

Airi stopped.

She raised her sword and stared fearlessly into the darkness.

Airi:

"I already died."

"The sea brought me back."

The gigantic shadow slowly began to rise.

The ocean churned violently.

Commentator (shouting with overwhelming hype):

"HERE IT ISSS!!"

"LEVIATHAN HAS REVEALED ITSELF!!"

"THE RULER OF THE SEA—"

"VERSUS THE HUMAN REBORN BY THE BLOOD OF THE OCEAN!!"

The Fourth Round had NOT yet begun.

But one thing was already certain—

the sea had chosen its side.

A deep and heavy voice echoed as though it came from every corner of the ocean itself.

Leviathan:

"At last…"

"…my turn to play has arrived."

Before him, Airi stood upon the water's surface. Compared to Leviathan, her body was tiny—

yet she did not waver even slightly.

Her face was cold.

Her gaze calm.

Airi:

"Oh. Good."

Several spectators held their breath.

Leviathan lowered his head, his massive eyes locking onto Airi.

Then he laughed.

Leviathan:

"Hahahahaha…"

"Why should I fight such a tiny human?"

The laughter shook the sea itself. Waves spiraled wildly around them.

Airi slightly raised her head, her expression remaining completely flat.

Airi:

"If you judge creatures by their size…"

"…then why can an elephant lose to an ant?"

Silence.

Leviathan's laughter abruptly stopped.

Within the ocean, Leviathan smirked again—

but this time, thinner.

More cautious.

The water around Airi began to move gently, as though responding to her existence.

The battle had not yet started.

But one thing had become clear—

Leviathan no longer saw Airi as an ordinary human.

And the ocean…

prepared to witness something that had never happened before.

The match began.

Without warning—

Leviathan attacked first.

The sea trembled violently. Deep-sea currents moved all at once, forcing water into a single point until it formed a gigantic wave towering high above Airi.

"LEVIATHAN ATTACKS!!"

"THAT'S A WAVE FROM THE DEEP SEA!!"

But Airi did not move.

She stood calmly upon the water's surface, her posture straight, her gaze cold and steady.

Moments before the wave struck—

the sea stopped.

The wave lost its shape, collapsed, and returned to calm water. The once-violent currents became still, as though they had never received an order at all.

The arena fell silent.

"…Stopped?"

"No… the water itself stopped."

Leviathan looked around him.

Leviathan:

"What did you do, human?"

Airi:

"I did nothing."

"The ocean simply no longer acknowledges you."

The water around Airi moved gently, flowing alongside her presence.

And at that moment—

an old memory resurfaced.

Flashback: The Child Rejected by Death

At that time, Airi was four years old.

She was returning home with her father, mother, older sibling, and herself. The journey had been normal, the sea calm, with no sign of danger.

Then the accident happened.

Seawater flooded in rapidly. Panic spread everywhere. Amid the chaos, one by one, her family disappeared beneath the sea.

Her father never returned.

Her mother sank into the darkness.

Her sibling vanished first.

And Airi—

was dragged into the depths as well.

Water covered her small body.

The light faded.

Her breath ran out.

There—

Airi died.

But the ocean…

rejected her death.

Airi's lifeless body stopped sinking. Ocean currents surrounded her silently, as though judging her.

Then—

water entered her body.

Not to destroy,

but to replace.

Her heart began beating again.

Her lungs started working—with water.

Airi came back to life.

She opened her eyes beneath the sea.

Calm.

Without panic.

Human blood no longer flowed through her veins.

What flowed within her now…

was the blood of the ocean.

Her body slowly rose toward the surface.

The ship had been destroyed.

Her family was gone.

But a child who should have died…

was returned by the sea.

Back to the Present

Leviathan stared at Airi in silence.

Leviathan:

"What… are you?"

"You're joking, aren't you?"

Airi looked at him without changing expression.

Airi:

"I'm not joking."

She raised her sword.

Without hesitation, Airi cut her own arm.

A single drop of blood fell into the sea.

For a moment—

silence.

Then the entire ocean turned red.

Not spreading like a stain,

but merging with the sea itself, as though the ocean had responded.

Airi:

"Look."

"I'm truly connected to the ocean."

The arena exploded into chaos.

"WHAT IS THAT?!"

"THE SEA TURNED RED?!"

"IS SHE REALLY A WATER HUMAN?!"

Leviathan scoffed.

Leviathan:

"Hah?"

"Of course water changes color when blood falls into it."

Airi stared at him flatly.

Airi:

"One drop of blood…"

"…could never turn the sea this red."

Leviathan fell silent for a moment.

Then he opened his mouth.

Massive pressure gathered—

and a gigantic torrent of water blasted directly toward Airi.

The audience held their breath.

But Airi did not dodge.

She accepted the attack completely.

The water slammed into her body—

then merged with her.

No impact.

No wounds.

No change in expression.

The water returned to the sea, as though it had merely gone home.

Airi looked at Leviathan, as cold as before.

Airi:

"Water cannot harm me."

"Because I am part of it."

For the first time—

Leviathan fell silent.

And the ocean…

waited for Airi's command.

The massive hologram screens throughout the arena trembled continuously, displaying Airi standing calmly before Leviathan. The sea around her swirled slowly, as if breathing alongside her.

The atmosphere in the arena gradually shifted from excitement… into tension.

Leviathan had unleashed water powerful enough to shatter titanium.

Yet Airi had not dodged.

She had accepted it.

"She… she really didn't resist that attack?"

"Instead of dodging, she absorbed it?"

"A normal human should've been destroyed…"

The hologram showed Airi standing perfectly still, her black hair drifting gently within the deep-sea currents.

The audience whispered in growing disbelief.

"Leviathan is the nightmare of the ocean…"

"And she's standing in front of him like a statue…"

"Is she even human…?"

On the screen, Leviathan narrowed his eyes.

Leviathan:

"Human…"

"Why were you not destroyed?"

Airi stared back with a calm expression despite standing within the deepest abyss.

Airi:

"Because the sea never intended to kill me."

The entire arena fell silent.

"…What does that mean?"

"The ocean… chose her?"

The hologram system trembled again, displaying the unstable water pressure—not because of Leviathan,

but because of the ocean's reaction to Airi.

"This is insane…"

"She's not challenging Leviathan…"

"She's standing equal to him."

The Mariana Trench trembled softly.

For the first time since the round had begun, Airi attacked first.

She swung her sword—

without shouting,

without overwhelming aura.

Yet the water around her followed the slash, stretching like an invisible blade.

Leviathan reacted instantly.

The scales covering his massive body lifted and spun outward one by one. They were no ordinary scales—

each one was as hard as ancient abyssal steel.

Leviathan's voice rumbled heavily.

Leviathan:

"Water human…"

"If you are part of the ocean…

then you shall be destroyed by a part of me!"

Dozens of scales shot forward, slicing through the sea like deadly projectiles.

The audience gasped.

"THOSE ARE HIS SCALES?!"

"HE'S USING THEM AS WEAPONS?!"

"ONE OF THOSE THINGS IS THE SIZE OF A CAR!"

On the screen, Airi did not retreat.

She shifted the direction of her slash. Water spiraled rapidly, deflecting many of the scales—

but several pierced through and cut across her shoulder.

Ocean blood flowed out—

yet it did not scatter wildly.

The surrounding water slowly sealed the wound.

Leviathan laughed deeply.

Leviathan:

"So you can bleed too."

Airi stared at him coldly.

Airi:

"I always could."

She burst forward, moving so fast the hologram cameras lagged for a fraction of a second.

One horizontal slash—

The sea itself formed into a thin yet dense wave that crashed directly into Leviathan.

BOOM.

Leviathan was pushed backward several meters, his scales cracking loudly.

The arena erupted.

"HE HIT HIM?!"

"THAT'S THE RULER OF THE ABYSS!"

Leviathan growled. More scales rose, forming layered shields before his enormous body.

Leviathan:

"You truly are different…"

"But don't think I'm merely a large target."

He twisted his massive body.

Thousands of scales spun around Airi, creating a storm of razor-sharp death.

Inside the arena, alarms blared again.

"MASSIVE SHARP OBJECTS DETECTED!"

"THIS ISN'T A SINGLE ATTACK—IT'S A MASSACRE—"

The announcement cut off.

Deep within the trench, Airi stood in the center of the storm, slowly raising her sword.

Her expression…

remained cold.

Airi spoke softly.

"If you wish to use the sea as a weapon…"

"…then don't forget one thing."

The water around her suddenly stopped moving.

"The ocean chooses who it is allowed to hurt."

Leviathan's scales froze in place within the water.

Leviathan's eyes widened.

"…What?"

And in the next instant—

Airi stepped forward.

The Mariana Trench shook violently.

The frozen scales fell back onto Leviathan's body, merging tightly into a thick black armor resembling a living fortress.

Leviathan raised his head.

Leviathan:

"Enough."

His voice echoed deeply.

"I have held back for far too long."

The pressure of the sea skyrocketed.

No longer currents.

No longer waves.

The entire trench itself seemed to shrink.

In the arena, holograms flickered wildly.

"WARNING— PRESSURE EXCEEDING SAFE LIMITS!"

"ABYSSAL CAMERAS UNSTABLE!"

The audience panicked.

"This is different…"

"This isn't an attack—this is destruction itself!"

On the screen, Airi finally dropped to one knee. Her sword stabbed into the ocean floor, keeping her body from being crushed.

For the first time—

her face showed strain.

Leviathan opened his jaws wide. The surrounding sea turned completely black, like endless night.

Leviathan roared:

"I AM THE ABYSS ITSELF."

The pressure crashed down upon Airi.

Her body was hurled violently into the ocean floor. Massive cracks spread across the seabed.

The audience fell silent.

"She got hit…"

"She actually got hit…"

Airi tried to stand. The water around her no longer moved freely—

it was being forced into submission by Leviathan.

Ocean blood flowed from the corner of her lips before dissolving into the sea.

Leviathan lowered his enormous head, his shadow swallowing Airi whole.

Leviathan:

"You may be part of the ocean…"

"But you are only a small part."

He lifted his body again, and the pressure descended like a colossal hammer.

Airi was crushed down. Her sword slipped from her grasp and fell into the darkness below.

The arena became completely silent.

"…Her sword fell."

"She… lost?"

Airi lay motionless, breathing heavily. Her eyes remained open, but her body could barely move.

Yet—

beneath the pressure,

the surrounding ocean trembled softly.

Not from command.

Not from anger.

But… from response.

Leviathan frowned.

"…What?"

Airi opened her mouth. Her voice was weak, yet clear.

"If you are the abyss…"

"…then I am something that sank… and survived."

The ocean trembled harder.

This battle was not over yet.

But one thing had become clear to everyone watching:

Airi was close to defeat.

The pressure of the trench still pinned Airi to the seabed. Her sword lay nearby, half-buried in black sand.

Leviathan looked down confidently.

Leviathan:

"It is over."

"You are strong… but you still lost."

Yet—

the ocean did not remain still.

Not a storm.

Not waves.

But a subtle vibration—

like a heartbeat.

Inside the arena, the holograms stabilized again…

too stable.

"Why is the pressure… even?"

"This is strange."

Deep within the trench, Airi's finger moved.

Slightly.

Barely visible.

Airi:

"I…"

Her voice was soft beneath the crushing pressure.

"…once died here."

Leviathan narrowed his eyes.

"What do you mean?"

Airi opened her eyes fully. Her gaze was not angry—

only calm.

"And I learned one thing."

The surrounding water flowed into her body instead of crushing outward.

"Those who sink…"

"…do not always break."

The ocean began moving toward Airi, merging with her body. Her wounds slowly healed. The ocean blood stopped flowing.

Leviathan laughed shortly.

Leviathan:

"You're trying to rise?"

"Under my pressure?"

He increased the pressure even further.

And that—

was his mistake.

The overly concentrated pressure disrupted the surrounding sea currents outside his control.

The depths around Leviathan suddenly became empty for a brief moment—

a vacuum within the ocean.

"The current structure… broke apart?!"

"He lost control for a second!"

Airi reached for her sword.

The moment her hand grasped it—

the ocean imploded inward instead of exploding outward.

Airi stood up.

Not resisting the pressure—

becoming its pathway.

Leviathan flinched.

"No—!"

Airi's slash was simple.

Not massive.

Not dramatic.

Yet the water followed her blade like a law of nature itself.

Leviathan's scales cracked.

Not because of brute force—

but because the abyss itself rejected his mistake.

Leviathan was blown far backward, his colossal body crashing into the wall of the trench.

Inside the arena, the audience rose to their feet at once.

"SHE STOOD BACK UP?!"

"LEVIATHAN GOT PUSHED BACK?!"

Airi stood tall once more, her breathing steady again. Her sword pointed directly at Leviathan.

"You pushed yourself too far," she said coldly.

"The ocean does not like being squeezed."

Leviathan fell silent. For the first time—

his breathing grew heavy.

"I… made a mistake…"

Airi stepped forward.

"And in the sea," she said,

"one mistake…

is enough."

Leviathan's rage exploded completely.

His massive body trembled, his scales rising like blades. The waters of the Mariana Trench no longer flowed naturally—pressure from every direction collided violently, turning the deepest currents unstable and chaotic.

Inside the arena, the giant hologram screens flickered wildly.

"ABYSSAL PRESSURE EXCEEDING LIMITS!"

"DEEPEST CURRENTS UNREADABLE!"

The audience panicked.

"This isn't just an attack!"

"The entire abyss is being crushed!"

On the screen, Airi stood motionless.

Not pushed back.

Not crushed.

Her expression remained cold, her breathing calm, her sword resting lightly in her hand.

Leviathan roared, his voice shaking the depths.

"I AM THE ABYSS!"

"I AM THE LAW OF THE SEA!"

The pressure increased again—even heavier than before.

But Airi closed her eyes.

And the world suddenly fell silent.

Airi's Inner Consciousness

Silence.

No pressure.

No currents.

Only an endless blue expanse.

A tall figure appeared from the distance. His hair flowed like water itself, his aura ancient and calm. In his hand rested a glowing three-pronged trident.

Poseidon.

He stopped a few steps before Airi.

"It has been a long time… human."

Airi exhaled softly.

"…So it was true."

Poseidon smiled faintly.

"Human time passes quickly. To the sea, you have only just awakened."

Airi looked toward the trident.

"You allowed me to live."

Poseidon shook his head.

"I simply did not forbid the ocean from rejecting your death."

Airi fell silent.

"Leviathan has gone mad," she said.

"He squeezes the sea as though the abyss belongs to him."

Poseidon gazed toward the distant Mariana Trench.

"Ancient creatures often forget. Power is not ownership."

He looked back at Airi.

"And you are not bound by the old laws."

Airi clenched her fist.

"If I act… will I cross the line?"

Poseidon lightly tapped his trident against the blue expanse. Gentle ripples spread outward.

"I did not come to grant you power."

"I only came to remind you of your right."

Airi looked at him.

"My right?"

"To stand," Poseidon answered.

"To not be drowned."

"And to be heard."

Airi closed her eyes briefly.

"…If the ocean chooses me?"

Poseidon smiled.

"Then even I shall remain silent."

The endless blue began fading away.

"Go," Poseidon said.

"Let the ancient creature remember that the ocean is still alive."

Back in the Mariana Trench

Airi opened her eyes.

Leviathan's pressure was still there—

but it no longer crushed her.

She stood upright, more stable than before.

Leviathan stared at her with trembling eyes.

"…What did you do?"

Airi slowly raised her sword.

"I simply remembered," she said coldly,

"…that I am allowed to stand here."

The surrounding ocean moved gently.

Not by command.

Not by force.

But… by choice.

The Mariana Trench continued trembling violently.

Leviathan's scales stood menacingly, currents crashing from every direction.

The pressure that had nearly destroyed Airi moments ago now began stabilizing—not because she had defeated Leviathan,

but because the ocean itself was holding the pressure back for her.

Airi stood calmly, sword in hand, cold and composed.

In the arena, the holograms displayed her stable form. The audience held their breath.

Deep within the trench, Leviathan growled and twisted his body. He still believed he ruled the sea—

yet the currents no longer obeyed him completely.

"You water human… you're cheating!" he roared.

"You should not be able to survive here!"

Airi stared at him coldly.

"The sea never lies," she said softly.

"And I… am allowed to stand."

Leviathan swallowed his fury and lunged forward. His scales shot like deadly projectiles, aiming to pierce Airi's defenses.

Airi did not dodge.

She stood calmly, sword ready. Waves of ocean blood spread from her arm, forming a thin natural barrier around her.

Leviathan's scales crashed against it.

A deafening explosion echoed through the trench. Currents shattered violently—

yet Airi remained standing.

"This… is impossible…" Leviathan roared. He paused for a moment, shocked that pressure meant to destroy her had become useless.

Airi looked at him coldly.

"The ocean chose me," she said.

"Not because I am strong…

but because the sea allowed it."

Inside the arena, the audience erupted into whispers and cheers.

"She… she's truly being protected by the ocean?"

"This… this is beyond a normal battle!"

Leviathan growled again. He twisted his massive body, preparing one final assault—all his scales released at once, every current compressed into a single devastating attack.

"Then… I will force that choice!"

Airi looked at the incoming storm of scales without stepping back. She raised her sword to chest level.

"…If you wish to try defeating me…"

"…then do it," she said coldly.

"The ocean will not lie."

Once again, the pressure descended.

This time even more violently.

The sea crashed against her from every direction.

But the ocean around Airi resisted, redirecting and dividing the force so she could continue standing.

Leviathan froze.

Never before had he felt the sea itself working against his will.

Airi slowly stepped forward.

One step.

Her sword pointed toward Leviathan, cold and unwavering.

"…Now…"

"…it is your turn to truly choose."

The holograms showed the audience trembling in tension. Some covered their faces. Others whispered nervously.

"This… this is the true climax…"

"The ocean chose her… It's not humanity winning—the sea itself is."

Leviathan held his breath. The currents that had always obeyed him now moved according to another will.

The ocean had chosen Airi.

The pressure paused for a brief moment, and the battle reached its critical point.

The Mariana Trench shook violently.

Leviathan still stood towering and terrifying, currents roaring around him.

But Airi had changed.

She took a deep breath, calming herself, channeling all the power flowing from Poseidon.

The surrounding waves spiraled rapidly.

The blood of the ocean flowing from her arm began glowing, intertwining with thin golden threads circling her body—the symbol of Poseidon's power moving through her.

The holograms displayed Airi shining brilliantly, blue ocean aura mixed with golden light, sword ready in her hand.

The audience stood frozen in awe.

"She… she's using everything!"

"Look at those golden threads… divine power!"

Airi raised her sword and stared at Leviathan.

"This…"

"…is where your time ends."

Her voice was cold and absolute.

Leviathan roared furiously, his scales glowing darkly. He charged forward, his entire body spinning as he attempted to destroy Airi with scales and raging currents.

But this time—

Airi did not evade.

The golden threads around her blocked every attack, dividing the pressure and strengthening her body. Her sword moved in perfect harmony with the ocean itself.

Airi shot forward.

Her speed and strength increased ninefold.

Every slash left behind trails of blue and gold, like streaks of light cutting through the sea.

One slash—

two slashes—

all merging into a single spinning strike.

Her blade cut directly through the center of Leviathan's massive body.

BOOM.

Leviathan's scales cracked apart.

The cracks spread rapidly across his enormous body.

Then—

he turned to dust.

The dust slowly drifted through the sea currents, glowing softly as though returning to the ocean itself.

The currents stopped.

The sea became calm again.

Leviathan's dust floated gently through the peaceful waters.

Inside the arena, the audience fell silent.

"She… actually defeated him."

"Even the sea calmed down afterward…"

Airi stood quietly within the restored currents, her sword dripping faint traces of golden light. Her expression remained cold and composed, as though Leviathan's death held no fear for her at all.

"…It's over," she said softly, carrying immense authority.

Airi slowly walked back toward the arena.

Every step was calm and steady.

The hologram screens displayed her figure clearly.

The audience erupted into thunderous cheers.

"Incredible!"

"She… she truly is the ocean's chosen human!"

"This… is Poseidon's power!"

An overwhelming aura of victory and authority surrounded Airi, drawing every eye toward her.

She continued walking calmly, accepting the roar of the crowd.

Commentator:

"The winner of Round Four… from the Warrior side…"

"…is AIRI MIKAMI!!"

The arena exploded with cheers.

"And with this victory…"

"THE SCORE IS NOW EVEN!"

"INDAVERS — TWO!"

"WARRIOR — TWO!"

"THE BATTLE STANDS BALANCED!!"
