Chapter 212 - Chapter 212 Suguru Geto's Declaration of War

It had been a sunny winter afternoon.

But now it was completely swallowed by a thick, viscous black cloud!

"What's going on?!"

"It's a Level 1 alert! A Special Grade Cursed Spirit has breached the school barrier!"

Panic erupted within the campus as countless Assistant Supervisors and sorcerers on duty stared at the sky in terror.

Those weren't storm clouds.

It was a massive black curtain blocking out the sun, crudely stitched together from hundreds of low-level Cursed Spirits emitting a sickening rot!

And right in the center of that curtain.

A Rainbow Dragon, massive enough to coil around half the mountain, descended slowly onto the wide central plaza of Tokyo Jujutsu High, riding waves of rolling cursed energy.

"My, my, it's been a long time."

Dressed in his signature gojo-kesa robes, Suguru Geto stood on the Rainbow Dragon's head with his hands tucked into his wide sleeves, looking down at the land that held so many of his youth's memories.

Behind him stood the core members of the Star Religious Group: Miguel, Larue, Nanako Hasaba, and Mimiko Hasaba.

Every one of them radiated an undisguised, chilling killing intent!

"Suguru!"

With a thunderous roar of indignation.

The doors to the school building were kicked open.

Satoru Gojo had cast aside his usual playful grin, the gaze beneath his blindfold cold as eternal ice.

He strode into the center of the plaza.

Following closely behind him were a grim-faced Masamichi Yaga and the quickly assembled team of Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, Panda, and Yuta Okkotsu, all jolted by the alarm.

As for Yoru.

He leaned lazily against the second-floor balcony railing, a cup of freshly brewed tea in hand, quietly watching this 'Oscar-worthy' confrontation unfold below.

"Satoru, it's been a while."

Suguru Geto leaped down from the Rainbow Dragon and landed steadily before Satoru Gojo.

Though he offered a greeting, his eyes were like a sharp scalpel, fixed intently on Yuta Okkotsu, who was hiding behind Maki Zenin.

"The Special Grade Vengeful Cursed Spirit, Rika Orimoto..."

"What a beautiful and pure power."

"A pity it's possessed by a monkey who doesn't even know how to use cursed energy. A complete waste."

Hearing Suguru Geto insult Yuta in public.

Maki, the most hot-tempered of the group, gripped her naginata and stood defiantly in front of Yuta, gritting her teeth.

"You stinking fake monk! Say 'monkey' one more time, I dare you!"

"Bonito flakes!" ('Get lost!')

Toge Inumaki pulled down his high collar, the snake eyes and fangs tattoos of the Cursed Speech User on his throat glowing with a dangerous light.

"Oh?"

Suguru Geto raised an eyebrow, not angry but instead breaking into a wild, arrogant smile.

"Such touching camaraderie."

"But I didn't come here to play house with you brats today."

Suguru Geto turned around abruptly.

He spread his arms like a mad conductor about to begin a symphony of the century.

Facing the entire school—and the corrupt higher-ups of the jujutsu world—he issued the death declaration destined to be etched into history!

"Listen well! All you monkeys hiding in the dark corners!"

"This December 24th! At sundown!"

"In the two sacred grounds of the jujutsu world—Shinjuku in Tokyo and the jujutsu capital of Kyoto!"

"We will simultaneously release one thousand Special Grade and Grade 1 Cursed Spirits that I have meticulously cultivated!"

"We shall carry out a total, one-sided slaughter of those worthless non-sorcerers!"

Suguru Geto's voice, amplified by massive cursed energy, echoed over the school like rolling thunder!

"It will be an unprecedented feast!"

"A carnival named the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons!"

"If you self-proclaimed sorcerers of justice want to stop us..."

Suguru Geto turned his head sharply, a suffocating madness and violence erupting in his narrow eyes.

"Then bring your pathetic resolve and fight to the death to stop me!!!"

Total silence.

Everyone was completely stunned by Suguru Geto's madman-like declaration of war!

Releasing a thousand high-level spirits in the two most populated cities simultaneously?

This was essentially instigating a full-scale war capable of destroying all of Japan!

"..."

Satoru Gojo clenched his fists so hard his nails dug deep into his palms.

He looked at the best friend he once fought alongside, someone he would have trusted with his life.

"Have you... truly gone mad?!"

"Mad?"

Suguru Geto sneered.

"I am simply executing my own justice."

"Satoru, your idea of gently changing the jujutsu world is far too naive."

He gave Satoru Gojo a long look, then cast a subtle glance up at the black-haired youth drinking tea on the second-floor balcony.

"The game has begun."

"We'll meet in Shinjuku."

Suguru Geto turned and led the core members of the Star Religious Group as they boldly stepped onto the Rainbow Dragon's back.

The massive Cursed Spirit soared into the sky.

Like a god of destruction descending upon the world, it vanished from the school's sight, trailing a sky full of black cursed energy.

Leaving Satoru Gojo with only a cold, decisive silhouette.

"Damn it!!!"

Satoru Gojo slammed a fist into a nearby stone pillar, his terrifying Limitless cursed energy instantly turning the thick stone into dust!

The atmosphere of the entire school plummeted to freezing.

A massive storm capable of swallowing everyone had completely shrouded the skies of Japan.

On the second-floor balcony.

Yoru finished the last sip of hot tea and tossed the cup into a nearby bin.

'He's a pretty good actor.'

Yoru watched the direction where Suguru Geto had vanished, a chilling light flashing in his deep red eyes.

The Night Parade of a Hundred Demons.

On the surface, it was Suguru Geto's declaration of slaughter against the higher-ups and ordinary people.

But in reality, it was nothing more than a grand, staggering trap set by the man who had hidden in the shadows for ten years to lure out that old fox, Kenjaku!

'Now that the stage is set.'

'Next, it's my turn as the external instructor to spice things up.'

Less than a week remained until the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons on December 24th!

Facing this aggressive declaration of war.

How would Jujutsu High respond to this unprecedented crisis?

And what kind of trump card had the "Cursed-Energy-Less Sword Saint" Yoru, who always drifted outside the rules and whose depth even Satoru Gojo couldn't see, prepared for the mastermind lurking behind the scenes for a thousand years?
