Within Itabashi High School's Basketball Court, an alternate had awakened inside a random student. His name was Sasaki Fuyutake and he was 15 years old.
Due to Tobu's unique ability, most of the other students evacuated the school cleanly without even noticing what was going on. Some were eaten by the freshly awakened alternate, a tragedy indeed.
BANG!
Group 4, currently excluding Takeru, had broken down one of the doors leading into the high school's basketball court.
"What's this, huh? Why'd you close the doors, alternate? Needed some alone time for eating your meal or something?", Yabo said in a nonchalant voice.
The alternate was currently still eating the remaining bits of the students it collected. "Fucking disgusting... I'll end you quickly, I'm not in the mood to fight right now.", Yabo said. "2nd form."
VZZZT!
Warugaki Yabo's unique ability was Heat Vision. He could project intense focused beams of thermal energy from his eyes. Igniting them caused his eyes to glow red and produce a humming sound that usually scared his opponents.
"Huh!? You ain't scared? The glowing red eyes usually work for that."
The alternate ignored him and kept on eating. Hina and Kohei sighed. "Just laser it already, Yabo.", Kohei said.
"Hey! I'll fucking laser you goddamn it! Be scared, you stupid alternate!", Yabo screamed. The alternate still ignored him and continued his feast. "Alright, Fuck you!"
ZZZZZHHH!
The alternate jumped super high reaching the height of the basketball hoops to avoid Yabo's lasers and then fell back down.
Yabo was shocked.
"Just who are you people?"
Yabo was even more shocked. "This seems to be a smart one, Yabo. It can communicate in perfect speech so its probably a 1st class Medium Alternate.", Kohei said with slight panic in his voice.
Knowing that this was a stronger alternate than the ones they usually fought, the 3 began to tense up. "Don't panic, you two. We've killed one of this level before, we can do it again." Kohei and Hina nodded.
"2nd form.", They both said.
"Hmm? 2nd form? What might that be? You 3 seem to be different from the other humans-"
As the alternate was talking, Yabo and Kohei dashed into the alternate with sharpened nails while Hina stretched out her arms to wrap them around the alternate to restrain it. Seeing Hina stretch out her arms in that way, the alternate realized something crucial.
"So they possess our abilities? Based on that, the lasers this man shot out from his eyes earlier must have been a unique ability that each of us are supposed to possess. I have no idea what's going on, I must explore this world and figure out the situation."
The alternate dodged Hina's arms and leaped towards her completely outshining the speeds of Yabo and Kohei. "What the hell!?", They both thought.
"Tell me, who are you?", The alternate asked as he stood right in front of Hina's space. Hina stayed silent. "Hmm? Why won't you speak to me? Are you scared that I will devour you?"
"No. I just thought you were unworthy of hearing my voice.", Hina said as she pulled out rocket launcher from her inventory and shot it directly into the alternate.
BOOM!
The alternate had gotten pushed into the wall by the rocket and it exploded causing that part of of the wall to be destroyed. In contrast to the wall, the alternate had received minimal damage that it regenerated from immediately.
"Another unique ability, I assume."
As said before, Asano Hina's unique ability allows her to store a limited amount of items in a invisible intangible space that only she has access to also known as an inventory. This inventory actually comes pre-equipped with a Rocket Launcher, an Ak-47 and a pistol. The rocket launcher contains one rocket and it must be kept back in the inventory for 5 minutes for the rocket to be restored, the Ak-47 holds 30 bullets and it must be kept back in the inventory for 2 minutes for them to be restored and the pistol contains 20 bullets and it must be kept back in the inventory for 1 minute for them to be restored.
While the alternate was still trying to get out of the rubble, Hina kept the launcher back in and pulled the Ak-47 out. She started firing nonstop. The alternate scoffed. "This is pathetic."
Although the bullets weren't enough to harm the alternate, they were enough to distract. Yabo shot his heat vision directly at the alternate.
ZZZZZHHH!
It began seriously damaging it. "AHHH! What a nuisance!" When it tried to jump away, Kohei stretched out his arms and wrapped them around it. Kohei was giving it his all. "These won't hold me, Human!" The alternate stretched out its legs, sharpened his nails and sent them towards Kohei. They stabbed his stomach.
"KOHEI!", Yabo and Hina screamed. Kohei couldn't keep hold of the alternate anymore and it easily broke free and lunged towards Yabo from the air dodging his lasers. It almost landed a punch on Yabo but he blocked it with his forearms. Yabo looked over at Hina and screamed, "Hina! Go take care of Kohei! I'll deal with this disgusting fuck!" Hina nodded and went towards Kohei.
"How dare you address me like that?", The alternate asked sounding offended.
"Cause that's what you all are, you disgusting fucks.", Yabo replied. He and the alternate were still in the same position of blocking the punch.
"Hmmm.", The alternate said as he leaped backwards and got a bit of distance from Yabo. "What!? You got scared?", Yabo asked in a smug manner.
"No, certainly not. I was actually gonna ask why you weren't scared. I easily brought down one of your comrades."
"That's cause Kohei's just a weak 2nd class low alternate-user. I on the other hand am a 1st class medium alternate-user, the same level as you so I have no fucking reason to be scared by the likes of your sorry bum ass."
"I don't understand."
"You don't fucking have to, you'll be dead soon anyway."
