Toshinori's POV
After that day, everything changed. There was this dangerous vibe of determination permeating through the young men.
They already decided to go to U.A. yet I feel like it is for the wrong reasons...
The name 'Ojiro' suddenly became a taboo. I still remember Devillion, he was a fine Hero, even more so as a person. It still pains me to this day, if only I was there then perhaps...
Sigh. It is unnecessary to think about the 'what-ifs' what matters is the present. If I keep thinking about what could have been, then I would just trap myself in a helpless situation that can't be good for me and the people around me. I just really hope that these young men could understand that too, but alas. They are still young, it wouldn't be good of me to rob them of their grief.
They had been training for a year and few months. They also finally decided to clean up the beach. When I first asked them about it, they told me that it was necessary for those trash to exist because it acts as a way for them to gain parts for their techs and also as a hindrance to deter anyone from deciding to ever set foot in here. A safe place for them, so to say.
But it seems that has changed as well, they told me it is part of their promise. A necessary change, they say.
How incredibly sad.

Yoshiki's POV
I can't believe a year has already passed. My mood has finally settled. I feel like I have changed. Well, I mean, so did the others of course.
It's just way too unexpected...
Sources say it was a Villain named 'Muscular' blonde hair, his eye was damaged in a fight with a Hero couple that has a water-type Quirk. By that time, he's already murdered several more people. Witnesses said that it was very sudden, a sudden ambush killed several people in a matter of a second. Ojiro-sensei did his best and had even overpowered Muscular but unfortunately that wasn't enough.
Muscular took hostage a kid. He was threatened that if he continued fighting, then Muscular would start killing anyone. That was how it ended, Ojiro-sensei was a Hero through and through... perhaps too heroic. And possibly stupid.
You never negotiate with these kinds of people. Casualties are bound to happen anyways, he could've just...
SLAP
I slapped myself awake at those thoughts.
I can't believe I am actually entertaining those thoughts.
I wonder what kind of Hero would I be? Would I have done the same choice? Would I risk people's lives if it meant defeating a Villain or a criminal?
I guess I'll see when I got there.
I was so lost in my thoughts that I actually forgot about my companions. We were supposed to go to the enrollment. By the time I realized it, they were already... gone. Meh, it's fine, I can track them.
Let's see...
Sniff sniff
There you two are.
As I was increasing my pace to catch up to the two, someone who was as unfortunate as I am, bumped into me.
"Ah!" it was a girly voice.
Thankfully I was fast enough to catch them in time.
"I'm sorry, are you alright, Miss..?" my eyes naturally traveled to where their face should be and I cannot believe what I am seeing.
"Pretty..." the words left my mouth before I could even think it through.
"I... th-thanks.. eh?? Did you just call me... p-pretty?" the girl turned red at this, still in my arms.
I was embarrassed so I quickly helped her to her feet as I scratched my head apologizing for my dumb mouth. She just laughed it off saying it was fine.
""...""
"...Wait, you can see me?" asked the girl.
"Uh.. yeah..? Wait. I can???" it was only at this moment that I realized that I can actually see her. I did say that my vision have changed and cannot see people's faces. Yet at this very moment, I could literally see her cute face, her teal eyes, and that messy multi-colored hair for some reason.
In my excitement, I grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her closer.
"You are neither red, orange, green or blue..! Well, except for your eyes, maybe..?!"
"Uh-Uh... I'm..."
She was red for some reason, does she have fever or something... or... oh. Oh!
"Wait, I am so sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable!"
After a few moments of apologizing and explaining, we finally got to introduce ourselves.
Her name was Toru Hagakure, her Quirk was Invisibilty, it makes it so that her body constantly refracts light off of her. I shouldn't have been seeing her if that's the case, no?
I mean... sigh, never mind. The author's brain can't handle the strain of explaining it anyways.
[Excuse me? How rude.]
What, it's true.
[Should I kill your parents here?]
You are the smartest person, Author-sensei.
[...]
Anyways.
"Toru-san... Uh, can I call you that? Toru-san." I asked the girl beside me.
"Yes! But in return, I get to call you Yoshi-kun okay?" she was smiling, eyes shining. She's so... snap out of it, self.
"That's more than fine but, why Yoshi-kun?"
"Because Yoshiki-kun doesn't roll off the tounge well! Also, this makes it so that our names match the numbers!" she said happily, bouncing off the ground.
"Makes sense."
I was still about to talk to her but then.
"YEEEEEAAAAAHHHH!!!!"
It was Present Mic.
"EVERYBODY!!! SAY YO!!!"
"YO!!!!!" I looked besides me to see Toru jumping in joy and responding to him, she looked at me expectantly so I couldn't help but join in.
"Yo!"
She laughed as she held my hand and raised it high before shouting once again.
"Alright, I see I have fan! You guys, the written part of this exam is staring, so line up based on the room you should go to! Yo!"
As we were told to go and seeing as we were in different rooms, Toru hugged me goodbye and even did a pinky promise to meet up later. I just took it and said that I could track wherever she goes anyway.
She looked at me with a cheeky smile and asked if I was a dog, I just laughed it off and waved her goodbye as I went and walked on.
....
Moments later, we were done with the written test. I actually saw Katsuki and Izuku along the way and I told them about this one girl I saw. They were shocked to know that I could actually see her and Izuku started mumbling about how such a thing could work which seemed to creep out the people in the surrounding.
We didn't mind them, I told them that I will go find her so that I could introduce her to them before the practical exam starts. They just waved me off with a suspicious smile on their faces before telling me to just go and look for her before it was too late.
I just nodded at them skeptically, asking for a second time if they were sure. They were, so I just went and followed a familiar scent.
The moment I saw her, I decided to play a prank on her. I lowered my presence and walked quietly behind her.
"Boo!" "AHHH!!!" I dodged a backhand and caught a high kick before it could land.
I smirked at her while still holding her raised leg.
"Stealthy, my ass."
"Yoshi-kun! You!" she angrily replied, so shocked at my prank.
"Hahahaha! You should've seen your face. It was priceless!"
"Hmph!" she pouted, crossing her arms and refused to acknowledge my presence no matter how many times I apologized. It was to the point that the examinees started looking at me weirdly for talking to a pair of floating clothes.
Present Mic went and explained all the rules. It turns out we are to go to the same field.
[Too many explanations and way too many Wattpad stories basically copying the Anime and putting a character inside it without changing anything. Just read one of those. Better yet, just watch the Anime.]
