By afternoon the less sleep and over work had shown it's effect on Vidit but everyone else seemed surprisingly fine. He ignored thinking that others may be asleep till the attack occurred and ignored Veda as she was trained and kids sleep less. He was the only one asleep in the afternoon when others were planning for the path ahead. They went on discussing possibilities of any more attack from those animals and how could they be saved. When they realized that they had walked about 5 buildings ahead of where Vidit was.
When a mysteriously shadowy figure was watching them through a sniper aming at both Vidit, and the crew with his sniper. And as the crew returned he turned away ensuring that everyone was safe no idea who he was but he may be a friend.
And if any animal had found him then it could kill him without him knowing as he was deep in sleep. And if they lost him then their plan to use the rocket would be crushed as he was the one who knew about the rocket and it was used in past. They returned with a feeling that some one was watching them.
The young girl looked directly at the shadowy figure in an instant as if she knew where he was, giving a death stare to him and with a little smile gave him a nod followed by the young boy and the other leader and the birds seemed to not hurt him like knowing that he was their own and not foe.
They decided to stay there as Vidit was asleep. But he had woken up as soon as Veda announced it. Asking why as the first word as soon as he woke up.
They looked at him to see if he had replied or any other person had replied to Veda's comment. Vidit was sitting where he was asleep and was repling to the statements given by Veda.
They started off their journey using the path which was least used by the humans and the animals to cross the city while hiding behind every possible place as this way the animals would not suspect any passerby and save them from being caught.
They passed the city quietly and secretively in order not to get noticed by the animals or birds. But who knew that there was the same shadowy figure but of a women who was keeping an eye on them. A bull saw the crew but as it had started to march towards them, the shadowy figure did some kind of sign which made the bull stop even as it didn't see her doing it it was like she went through it's mind and made it stop. As they were about to leave the city the young girl turned around and gave a smile showing all was done to the shadowy figure.
