Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

The whole Douluo Dalu world was filled with commotion, after all The Creator of there Relams was revealed.

Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda Clan Hall

Ning Fengzhi paced the luminous hall in complete disarray, face pale as the Sky Curtain's glow reflected off pagoda crystals. "You're not joking about this, right?" he pressed Gu Rong and Chen Xin, voice cracking.

"Is your teacher really Lord Arceus?" Ning Fengzhi demanded, hands trembling.

Gu Rong and Chen Xin stood resolute, auras steady. "We're sure," they answered in unison. "We lived with him for decades— we know his aura intimately. Although the Sky Curtain amplifies it a thousandfold, but it is still unmistakable."

Ning Fengzhi drifted into a dreamlike haze—Creator God, teacher to my guardian elders? The implications dizzied him.

Gu Rong snapped him back, tone firm. "Ning Fengzhi, don't even dream of dragging Master into the sect or politics. He despises it—especially schemers eyeing him."

Ning Fengzhi met their warning glares—Chen Xin's sword hand twitching, Gu Rong's eyes faintly glowing—and nodded hastily. "I understand. Fully."

He shifted gears. "What about taking Rongrong as his student?"

Chen Xin hummed thoughtfully. "Possible."

Gu Rong nodded agreement.

Ning Fengzhi seized it, barking to an attendant. "Did you retrieve Ning Rongrong from Shrek?"

The attendant bowed low. "Sect Master, we've contacted the guards shadowing Little Miss. They'll return in a couple days."

Ning Fengzhi exhaled, nodding. Chen Xin interjected, "Old Bone, we should call Old Poison too. He's in our group."

Gu Rong grunted. "Yes."

Ning Fengzhi blinked. "By Old Poison... Dugu Bo?"

Chen Xin nodded crisply. "Yes."

Shrek Academy

Tang San, Xiao Wu, Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, Oscar, Dai Mubai, and Ma Hongjun stood frozen on the academy grounds, eyes locked upward as the Sky Curtain unveiled Arceus's human form—stark white hair flowing, purple-red sigil glowing, red-black robes commanding absolute presence. The air thickened with reverence and dread.

Xiao Wu in particular being Soul Beast was in awe of Arecus and muttered."Lord Arceus is so amazing."

Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong silently agreed.

Xiao Wu's bunny ears twitched, mouth agape in pure awe. "So beautiful... like a god beyond gods," she whispered, pink eyes shimmering.

Zhu Zhuqing's golden cat eyes widened, cool facade cracking into silent wonder, claws flexing unconsciously at the divine aura.

Ning Rongrong clasped her hands, seven-treasure glow flickering erratically. "He's... perfect. The Creator," she breathed, awe rooting her in place.

Dai Mubai gripped his fists, regal bearing shattered. "We're ants before that power," he muttered, feeling dust under divine gaze.

Oscar swallowed hard, sausage spirit dimming inside him. "Yeah... insects. One glance, and we're gone."

Ma Hongjun wiped sweat, flames snuffed cold. "Ants doesn't cover it. We're less than dirt."

Tang San stared hardest, blue eyes calculating beneath doubt. Tang Sect techniques, hidden weapons—nothing against him. Yet fire kindled: God's Realm is reachable. I'll climb there, surpass limits. His hand tightened on the ground, unyielding.

Just then, Flender strode onto the scene—a middle-aged man in his fifties, tall with a characteristic face: prominent chin, wide cheekbones, aquiline nose giving off a sly, devious air. Black-framed crystal glasses with rigid square frames perched on his nose, average figure.

Zhao Wuji lumbered beside him, extremely short but built like a fortress—shoulders broad as city walls, overly muscular and sturdy. Rugged black hair cropped neat, matching black eyes under thick full beard framing a sour expression. Sleeveless leather jacket bared steel-cast arms and the massive stylized chest tattoo peeking out.

Flender adjusted his glasses, voice firm and no-nonsense. "All of you came here to study and increase your power. You cannot always stop and stare at the Sky Curtain—back to training, now."

The Shrek students—Tang San, Xiao Wu, Dai Mubai, Oscar, Ma Hongjun—shifted uneasily, sky still dominating their thoughts.

Ning Rongrong, already fuming from Flender's harsh words yesterday about her "useless" support spirit, stepped forward with hands on hips, seven-treasure pagoda flickering defiantly. "Dean Flender, this Sky Curtain is a once-in-a-lifetime event showing the Creator of our world! Your own rules make classes so casual anyway—there might not even be one for days. We have plenty of free time as it is." Her tone was sharp, spoiled nobility peeking through, but justified.

Tang San, Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, Dai Mubai, Oscar, and Ma Hongjun exchanged glances, nodding subtly in agreement—eyes still skyward, unwilling to tear away.

Flender's face twitched, annoyance flashing behind his glasses. He composed himself with a forced sigh. "Okay, fine—"

Before he could spin a punishment for her insolence, two Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect guards in gleaming pagoda-embossed armor burst onto the grounds, kneeling swiftly before Ning Rongrong. "Miss Rongrong! Lord Fengzhi orders you back to the sect immediately. The Sky Curtain has made the lands unpredictable."

Ning Rongrong frowned, violet eyes widening in surprise at her bodyguards' arrival. Father must've known the second I ran off, she realized. She straightened, nodding crisply. "Understood. Father wouldn't call without reason." As she turned to leave, she shot Flender a parting glare. "You can keep the tuition fees, Dean Flender. I'm leaving Shrek."

Flender's shoulders slumped, a pang hitting—losing Ning Rongrong meant goodbye to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect's deep pockets sponsoring Shrek. "Rongrong, wait—"

She ignored him, spinning toward the group with a sly glint, zeroing in on Dai Mubai. "And as for you, Dai Mubai—after that disgusting 'rape threat' you threw at me yesterday? Don't think I've forgotten. I will repay it when the time comes." Her voice dripped venom, true to her prideful streak.

Dai Mubai flushed, evil eyes narrowing. "That was a joke, you spoiled—"

Ning Rongrong cut him off, turning warmer eyes to Zhu Zhuqing, sensing the cat girl's quiet kindness over Xiao Wu's bubbly energy. "Zhu Zhuqing, come with me to the sect. You're wasted here with these creeps—my father would welcome real talent like yours. Better than rotting at Shrek."

Zhu Zhuqing hesitated, golden eyes flickering—loyalty to her mission warring with unease—but curiosity held her. "I... need to think."

Ning Rongrong smirked, snapping fingers at the guards. "You two—tell me Dai Mubai's history here. Now."

Ning Rongrong knew these guards probably looked into everyone's identity in Shrek Academy.

The guards exchanged knowing looks, one reciting flatly: "Prince Mubai's no saint at Shrek. He is a frequent brothel visitor along with his fellow classmate Ma Hongjun— Also he goes to Rose Hotel daily, multiple women each time. It's Common knowledge."

Zhu Zhuqing's face twisted in disgust, cold mask shattering as she glared at Dai Mubai, phantom claws itching. "Filth," she hissed, voice icy. Without another word, she fell in step beside Ning Rongrong, the two walked with the guards.

Just then Dai Mubai yelled."Zhu Zhuqing you are my fiancee, do you think you can run away from me."

Zhuqing stopped glaring at Dai Mubai replied."You ran away like coward and left me behind. I didn't fault tou for running away, I thought you were here diligently training. But I find out how you rot away here visiting brothels is disgusting."

As Zhuqing walked away.

Dai Mubai snarled, fists clenched, while the others watched in stunned silence.

As Xiao Wu slightly curious questioned."Oscar, what is the situation with Dai Mubai being run away prince?"

Oscar explained."Well Dai Mubai is third Prince of Starlou Empire, there Royal Family has strict rule for future sucssor of the throne. Its practically a death match between the Princes along with there fiancee fight each other. From what I understand Dai Mubai older brother is more talented, but also 6 years older than him. This Boss Mubai ran away when he got the chance."

Xiao Wu slowly understood everything, but she now greatly dispised Dai Mubai." This Dai Mubai is a coward."

Tang San felt Dai Mubai is now wrong, also he felt Dai Mubai was a friend now and possible team member. So he whispered Xiao Wu."Dai Mubai is now wrong here, Xiao Wu. He did want he needed to survive."

Xiao Wu frowned at Tang San and replied."You are wrong brother.I understand his need to survive. But he left his fiancee alone back there and instead of traning here, he went to brothels daily. Which shows he didn't care about Zhu Zhuqing at all."

Tang San was stumped, originally Xiao Wu would just agree with Tang San. But here Xiao Wu went against him.

Zhao Wuji sidled up to Flender, voice low and gruff, thick beard twitching. "Flender, let's grab the kids for outdoor training. I fear Lord Chen Xin and Lord Gu Rong might storm here for payback—Dai Mubai's mess with Ning Rongrong ain't small."

Flender nodded sharply, aquiline nose flaring behind square glasses, devious glint dimmed by worry. "I wanted to grind down the girl's arrogance, blend her in, let the Dai issue fade. But now? Situation's rotten. Best we vanish for a bit."

Tang San, Xiao Wu, Oscar, and Ma Hongjun overheard, exchanging wide-eyed glances. They'd pegged Ning Rongrong as just a core disciple—clearly more.

Oscar, crush burning despite the chaos, blurted, "What's Ning Rongrong's real status in the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect?"

Flender sighed heavily, adjusting his glasses. "She's daughter of Sect Master Ning Fengzhi."

He shot Dai Mubai a piercing glare. "Dai Mubai, any clue who you just insulted?"

Dai Mubai scoffed, evil eyes flashing princely pride, arms crossed. "I'm Star Luo royalty. I am sure nothing will happen to me."

Zhao Wuji barked a booming laugh, chest tattoo flexing under his jacket. "Star Luo? Pfft—your empire's a joke next to them. Seven Treasure's got two level 98 Titled Douluo. You? One. Think will your Daddy let you die over offending them?"

Dai Mubai's face drained, panic cracking his swagger. "Teacher Flender, Teacher Zhao—help me out here!"

Flender sighed again, waving it off. "I'll pen a letter to Sect Master Fengzhi—he'll grasp the mess. For now, outdoor training. Pack up."

Dai Mubai exhaled shaky relief, tiger aura settling uneasily.

Tang San felt he lost a great ally and sponsor, but he also felt Ning Rongrong is hard to control.

Spirit Hall, Pope Palace

Bibi Dong stood transfixed in the opulent throne room, golden robes pooling as the Sky Curtain bathed stone walls in divine light. Arceus's human form sharpened into view—long stark white hair flowing, sharp jaw unyielding, purple-red forehead sigil pulsing like a heartbeat. Recognition slammed her.

"It's really you," she muttered, violet eyes widening, breath catching.

She shook off the daze, voice snapping to steel command. "Yue Guan!"

Elder Chrysanthemum Douluo Yue Guan materialized from shadows, bowing low. "Supreme Pontiff?"

"Send people—now. Scour the continent for that man in the vision. Every outpost, every spy," she barked, knuckles white.

Yue Guan nodded sharply, vanishing to obey.

Bibi Dong paced, mind racing. "Bring Qian Renxue."

Unlike the original timeline where Qian Renxue infiltrated Heaven Dou Royalty undercover, she'd stayed at her mother's side. After Arceus healed her—mending Bibi Dong's fractured psyche post-birth, taming Raksha's whispers and birthing daughterly clarity—their bond had thawed to cordial warmth.

Qian Renxue's footsteps echoed soon after, blonde hair catching light, golden generation eyes curious yet poised.

"Mother?" Qian Renxue asked, sensing the urgency.

Bibi Dong gripped her shoulders, urgent. "The one shown in the Sky Curtain is him- my savior. We have to find him first."

Star Luo Empire, Throne Room

Dai Huan, Star Luo Emperor, sat enthroned in the grand hall—striking gold hair medium-length to his ears, thick golden beard framing pale intense eyes and sharp defined features radiating stern command. Ornate golden crown curved with horn-like protrusions, central purple gem gleaming; heavy dark plate armor—black-blue with silver-gold filigree—encrusted blue gems across chest and flared blade-point pauldrons. Thick braided golden cord necklace bore a massive purple jewel over his chest plate.

The Sky Curtain's glow pierced even these fortified walls, Arceus's human form—white hair flowing, purple-red forehead sigil blazing—filling the chamber. Dai Huan's eyes narrowed, turning to Zhu Lingmao at his side.

"Doesn't Lord Arceus resemble Dai Li and Zhu Zhuqi's teacher?" he questioned, voice measured but probing.

Zhu Lingmao frowned, noble features tightening. "It looks like him, my Lord, but we can't be certain. Zhu Zhuqi stopped contacting me after she left."

Relief flickered inwardly—his daughter severing ties and fleeing with Dai Li spared her the throne's bloodbath. Like any father, he loved her fiercely, powerless against empire politics. When Zhu Zhuqing vanished too, he suspected eldest daughter Zhu Zhu Yun's faked assassination steered her clear of the succession war.

Dai Huan nodded slowly, chances slim but guilt gnawing. He'd favored eldest Dai Weisi for heir, pressuring second son Dai Li into early combat. Dai Li renounced the throne, fleeing despite coercion. That day lingered: an unseen teacher's pressure crushed the room—Spirit Douluo guards kneeling, unable to lift heads, glimpsing only a hazy face. The man whisked Dai Li and Zhu Zhuqi away unchallenged.

Dai Huan hadn't hunted them, wary of a Quasi-God Titled Douluo's retaliation. "Send Xu Feng to watch for Dai Li and Zhu Zhuqi. Their teacher will be near. We mend ties somehow."

Zhu Lingmao bowed crisply and departed, throne room falling silent under the Curtain's watchful light.
