The sun rose quietly as Ray got up from his bed.
I really hope they got me a dorm now, I don't want to go back and forth from my house to there.
He packed his things up AGAIN and set off.

After a few minutes of silent walking, he heard kids screaming, then followed by a big 'boom.'
What the hell was that?
He looked at the direction where the noise came from.
He could've sworn he heard someone yell 'help.'
Then came the moment of silence. But it felt long.
Deadly long.
He stood there, confused.
Then, he heard someone yell his name.
"Thunderstrike!"
He turned around, facing Midoriya.
"Did you hear that?" Ray asked, briefly glancing behind him.
"Hear what?"
Hear what? The two words echoed in his head. He didn't hear?
"Hear screaming, followed by an explosion," Ray said, quietly.
"Screaming? I think you're just imagining it."
"What brings you here?"
"I came here to tell you that you have a dorm now. Follow me," Midoriya said, walking back.
"Okay."
Today's weird…
"So what were you talking about some screaming?" Midoriya suddenly asked.
"Nothing.. why do you care?"
"Because it's my job to keep everyone safe!"
"Yeah… everyone…" Ray mumbled, staring at the floor.
"Well, yeah! Everyone!" Midoriya stopped at the entrance of the school.
"Here, let me show you where your dorm is," he said.
Ray nodded.
But when they entered through the door, students nearby started whispering about him
Something shifted in the shadows but he told it to shush.
"What was that?" Midoriya pointed at the shadows.
Shit, hide, Umbra!
"That's probably nothing. Let's continue," Ray said, walking ahead.
"You're hiding something," it wasn't a question.
He didn't stop walking.
"I'm not."
"You never told us your quirk."
"I didn't need to."
Midoriya raised an eyebrow, "didn't need to?"
Why did I say that?
"Can we just go?" Ray said, stopping but not looking back.
Midoriya sighed, knowing pushing him wouldn't work. He slowly and cautiously stepped forward towards him.
"Now show me where this dorm is," Ray said, as his voice went back to being cold.
Midoriya nearly flinched when Ray went back to his cold voice. He opened his mouth, but no words came out.
Can he be useful for once?
"Yeah! It's right over here!" Midoriya blurted out, pointing at Dorm #190.
"If you need anything, just go to the common room.." Midoriya said. But when he got no answer, he sighed and left.

"Hey Deku! How was the conversation with Thunderstrike?" Ochaco Uraraka asked.
"He was.. talkative.. sort of.. but then he started acting cold.."
"Isn't that how he acted yesterday?" She tilted her head.
"I guess, yeah.."
That's when Denki Kaminari walked in, "uhh, what happened in here?"
"Well, Deku was trying to start a conversation with Thunderstrike-"
"You mean, that new student?"
"Yeah."
"Did he tell you his quirk?" Kaminari sat on the couch.
"No, but something moved in the shadows."
"Man, that sounds really… well, scary."
As soon as that was said, the lights flickered.
Kaminari jumped, "ah! What the he-"
"I don't know! Let's just leave!" Uraraka cut him off, already running to the door.
"When something moved in the shadows.." Midoriya muttered, "it stopped when… he looked at it.." His eyes widen.
"Guys wait! What if this is all.. Thunderstrike?!"
"No… he wouldn't scare us like that!" Uraraka was already on a verge of tears.
"But… what if… it is him?"
"Could that be his quirk?"
