That night they all went to sleep even Tatu eventually succumbed to sleepingthough he was quite restless at first. Daniel however was met by Maochong theCaterpillar in his Dreams. The Caterpillar was trying to explain something toDaniel about Tatu. He was explaining that many people change and that for some itonly takes some time for them to find their own way. He showed a series offlashbacks and began to explain what they were seeing they appeared in the actualflashback as sort of flies on the walls to past events;
"First we have the famous fight between King Gilgamesh and his allyEnkidu against the evil Humbaba once Gilgamesh was a tyrant but he saved theworld and turned a new life alongside his comrade Enkidu and defeated the evilmonster Humbaba in Ancient Samaria. King Gilgamesh would go through manymore trials during the Epic of Gilgamesh until he became the man you know today.Next the Monkey King; Sun-Wukong in the events preceding Journey to the West hetried to kill the Jade Emperor and replace him as the ruler of all Heaven but hefailed after he lost an epic battle with the Buddha himself who of course trapped
the Monkey King under a mountain for over 500 years until he was saved by theBuddhist monk Tripitaka. Sun-Wukong would go on the Journey to the West toIndia with Tripitaka, Pigsy and Sandy but after it was over Tripitaka, Pigsy andSandy reached Enlightenment but Sun-Wukong would have to go on his ownjourney alone deep into the Spirit Realm before he finally reached Enlightenmentand became a Buddhist. 1,000 years after the Monkey King had obtained Nirvana,he battled his evil cousin the Ape King who like the Monkey King did 1,000 yearsago was trying to de-thrown the Jade Emperor and rule over all of Heaven.Sun-Wukong defeated his cousin and sent him back to the Ape Palace. The ApeKing had no tail of course and as you can see in the famous battle of the MonkeyKing and the Ape King had a red cape with the Chinese Characters for the ApeKing on it in Gold and on the front of his armor. At one point they battled in theirgiant demon forms but the Monkey King eventually won. The Ape King retreatedwon day to defeat his cousin the Monkey King and then kill the Jade Emperor andbegin his new Celestial Dynasty. During this time the Ape King met his ownBuddhist Monk like Sun-Wukong had with Tripitaka. It was a young ShaolinChinese Buddhist Monk named Ponyo who lived in the Qing Dynasty in the 18thcentury and of course died in the 18th century now in the Spirit Realm he wanted totrain under the Monkey King and mistook the Ape King for him though unlike theMonkey King the Ape King is much taller and does not have a tail. When he realized the Ape, King was not Sun-Wukong he tried to leave but the Ape Kinginsisting that now Ponyo would be his Protégé.
He tried to warp Ponyo's mind intohelping him conquer the Kingdom of Heaven but eventually the reverse happenedand Ponyo changed the Ape King. The darkness in the Ape King's heart left himand he found inner-peace and the meaning of love no longer seeking power butonly enlightenment. The Ape King and the Monkey King in 100 years' time wouldbecome allies and friends and even battled several monsters including the DarkLord Yakku who tried to seize the Jade Throne but was defeated and banished toHell by both the Ape King and the Monkey King.As this was happening Tripitaka travelled to the realm of Demons as anancient evil the evil Dark-Elf Prince Karelian was wreaking havoc and trying toconquer the Underworld in an epic battle Tripitaka defeated Karelian and agreedto spare his life if he gave up his evil ways. Karelian learned under Tripitaka andbecame of course one of your father's the Wind God Ebisu's most respectedadvisors. And of course in your own battles you defeated Taiping and Anon-12 theCyborg but they changed for the better sacrificing their lives for this world, youchanged Sarai who almost destroyed the entire Planet of Helios and now he evenhelped Zaiyal save the Cosmos from an evil overlord, you changed Narcis the LightElf who once tried to conquer the entire Planet Helios for himself and pushed himdown the path towards Enlightenment and the path of good and finally Tatu the
Wasp-Prince has changed due in large part to his adopted-daughter the Elf Lunaand that ninja Zengi has changed for the greater good as well." Said theCaterpillar. "Okay everything you just said is true. But maybe some people don'tchange Tatu's pretty terrible the guy has killed a lot of innocent people." SaidDaniel. "Well let me show you my last example for today Ungar your teacher. Yousee Ungar was a terrible tyrant who was reborn out of hate after his tribe wasexterminated by a rival tribe of alien Bulgars this malice turned him into a beingcalled a Gettling and an evil one at that. He killed millions of people with adronish demon army that he created himself. His goal to wipe out the planet andhopefully destroy himself in the process. He was defeated in this version of Earth'stimeline around the year 1,000 AD after King Arthur's death by one of KingArthur's old knights Percival and the wizard Merlin. Percival was killed in thebattle and Merlin was unable to defeat him but was just able to seal him inExcalibur for 1,000 years throwing the sword to the Lady of the Lake where itwould remain underwater in England for a millennium. There was no way todestroy the sword or to reverse the seal which would break after 1,000 yearsreleasing Ungar once again upon the world. 1,000 years when the seal was brokenand Ungar escaped from inside of the sword Excalibur later he did just that.Wreaking havoc in Washington, Moscow, Paris, Tokyo, Tehran, Beijing, etc. killing millions once again in his wake. When he returned to London where he was goingto finish the job of destroying the planet and everything on it, he was confronted byseveral beings these were Merlin the wizard, your predecessor the Light Elf Lotorand Mencius as well as one other familiar face; the Wind God Ebisu your father.This fight between Ebisu and Ungar would secure the fate of an entire planet and Iwill show you this event now as it took place over 500 years ago." Said theCaterpillar.It was in the ruins of a destroyed city Ungar was floating above the gianthorrific demons he created rampaging the entire city in the distance. Sir Rhymewas standing behind Ebisu as the Wind God stepped forward and put a protectivemagical bubble around him, Lotor, Mencius and Merlin the four were nowprotected from all the destruction the battle between Ungar and Ebisu wouldunleash. "Well, you must be one of that old dolt Merlin's friends. What's your namefool?!" said Ungar. "I am the Wind God, Ebisu. I have come to put an end to yourneedless destruction." Said Ebisu. "Well sorry to burst your bubble but I've killedmany Gods before in my prime 1,000 years ago." Said Ungar. "I am aware ofthat." Said Ebisu. "Then why did you bother to fight me." Said Ungar. "Becauseyou haven't fought anyone like me. I know you are a Gettling and I cannot kill youbut you do not have the necessary power to defeat me so you might as well give upWarlock." Said Ebisu. Ungar began to laugh hysterically. "You really think you can beat me that's a laugh. But enough talk! Time to put your mouth is." Said Ungar."Find with me." Said Ebisu, leaping into battle. "I'M GOING TO ENJOYRIPPING YOU APART!!!!!!" said Ungar. And with that Ungar leaped into battlethe great battle had begun and like flies on the wall Daniel and the Caterpillarwatched the entire past-event play out.
Ungar began shooting beams of dark energy everywhere the energy couldnot hurt Merlin and the others because of the protective bubble but Ebisu dodgedall of them with incredible ease. Ebisu tried to get up close to Ungar and managedto land a punch Ungar flew back his cape whistling behind him. Ebisu came in fora second attack but it was a trap. Ungar woke up and began shooting more darkenergy down at Ebisu destroying countless buildings and property in the process. Itlooked like Ebisu was gone but he simply appeared behind him and knocked Ungarto the ground. Ungar leaped back and now the battle really began to pick up.Daniel was shocked these two as long as he had known them were so close but 500years ago, they were engaged in such a fierce battle and were clearly enemies. Inaddition to this his mentor Ungar was once truly a monster he saw the corpses ofthe countless dead that he had laid down in their prime. Ungar was slapped byEbisu into the ground but Ungar's response to this was to grow big.
First, he grewto the size of a building and then when Ebisu still clearly had the upper hand Ungargrew to the size of a small mountain. But this only slowed down Ungar even more allowing Ebisu to trip him. Ungar fell to the ground making an enormous thud hedecided to revert back to his normal size using his magic. When he died, heexplained that he was tired of Ebisu and that he would make quick work of him.He began to power up some strange attack while he was doing it a force fieldaround Ungar kept Ebisu from landing any blows. Finally, Ungar but his hands upto the heavens and with a beam of dark energy created what seemed like an AtomBomb but it was completely black and wreaked of dark energy. Ungar assumedEbisu would have to be finished but he still stood unphased.This shocked him. "That's impossible! You should be gone!" said Ungar."Now it's my turn." Said Ebisu. At this point in the battle Ungar was now trulyafraid and at this point he feigned a defeat and begged for forgiveness when itseemed that Ebisu's guard was down, he tried to attack him but Ebisu pulled outhis palm and a burst of energy was seen it blotted out the son and when it fadedUngar was there before Ebisu trembling on his knees. "How did you obtain suchpower?! Even for a God its unlike anything I've seen." Said Ungar. "If you wouldlike I could teach you." Said Ebisu. Ungar right then and there burst into tears onhis knees before Ebisu the battle was over. After this the Caterpillar's lesson had concluded; it was to look for the goodin people even when no one else did. This is what Ebisu had done he had treated Ungar as a person and an equal and not like a monster like everyone else had done. When Daniel woke the next day, he remembered this lesson.
