Gabryell easily crushed NoTrace.
The guy had some grit. Even after being killed several times, he kept rezzing and trying to fight Gabryell head-on.
But a Ganklord knockoff was still just a knockoff. After being killed for the tenth time, NoTrace finally couldn't take it anymore and chose to take rez sickness.
The last time he died, NoTrace typed a huge block of text in public chat. To Gabryell, it appeared as a string of unreadable Undead gibberish, but he could roughly guess what it meant.
I can't beat you, but you think I can't kill your lower-level guildies? Just you wait. I'm going to wipe out every single Alliance alt I see. If you've got the guts, camp me 24/7. If you can't, I'll make your lives miserable.
NoTrace wanted to become Tichondrius's Ganklord. Whether he had Ganklord's patience, and whether he could turn Tichondrius into a Horde-favored realm, would take time to prove.
Gabryell wasn't optimistic. Tichondrius's Alliance now had an incredibly "pro" PvPer named Skybro, the kind of guy who loved PvP so much that even dying a thousand times wouldn't make him quit. Once Skybro leveled up and started pestering NoTrace, it was hard to say who would crack first.
With NoTrace out of the way, Gabryell went to the center of the arena and opened the Arena Treasure Chest.
Every Arena Treasure Chest was guaranteed to contain one Arena Master. Collecting twelve of them allowed you to turn them in to Short John Mithril for the blue-quality Arena Grand Master trinket. Since the Arena Treasure Chest spawned every three hours, gathering all twelve would take thirty-six hours at minimum.
Gabryell wasn't interested in the Arena Grand Master trinket. He didn't have time to camp the chest every three hours.
"Carlos, once you hit level 45, come camp this place when you have time. A chest spawns every three hours, and there'll definitely be a fight whenever it does."
Gabryell told Carlos about it because he knew Carlos was the most interested in PvP.
Carlos was full of confidence. "Once I hit level 45, I'll bring a few groups to Stranglethorn Vale every day and slaughter the Horde. We'll wipe them out and send them running."
Once the main wave of players reached level 40, Stranglethorn Vale would definitely become lively. Anyone who liked PvP wouldn't be disappointed there. There would be fights at every hour of the day.

16 Slot Bag
"A 16-slot bag!"
Gabryell ignored the other two items entirely, his eyes locked on the 16-slot bag.
Perfect timing. He had just been wishing a 16-slot bag would drop so he wouldn't have to keep running back to Gadgetzan to clear his inventory while digging up graves in Zul'Farrak.
"My account isn't cursed after all."
Gabryell felt very good about himself. All those times he had been unlucky before must have been an illusion. Maybe in the future, he really could try being the first to enter raids and snipe the lockout.
He swapped out a 10-slot bag for Traveler's Backpack, then left Gurubashi Arena and headed for Booty Bay.
When he entered Booty Bay, there were quite a few Horde players around. Most were in their teens or twenties. Nine out of ten were probably newbies who had taken the boat over from the Barrens.
When they saw Gabryell, an Alliance player, come in, a few Horde players actually ran up and attacked him.
The result was obvious.
They were beaten down by a swarm of goblins.
Goblin towns were neutral territory. Goblins loved money and didn't care about factions. As long as you didn't cause trouble on their turf, they were more than happy to let you spend gold there. But if you started a fight in goblin territory, the nearby goblin guards would swarm you without hesitation and send the troublemaker straight to the graveyard.
Gabryell first unlocked the Booty Bay flight path, then teleported back to Ironforge to train his skills. Arcane Intellect Rank 4 would be very useful for solo farming the Zul'Farrak graveyard.
After training, he went straight to the bank entrance and mailed the Arena Bands to Hugo. They were the best level 45 Hunter bracers, with +28 Attack Power.
Gabryell wasn't short a few dozen gold, so there was no need to sell them. Once he started digging up graves in Zul'Farrak, he could easily make thirty or forty gold an hour. Money wouldn't be a problem.
"Snowy, I'll mail you all the cloth. Keep making bags to sell."
The bags Gabryell had listed earlier had all sold out. At the current stage, bags were an in-demand item.
Snowlily said, "Okay, I can make Silk Packs now."
Silk Packs were 10-slot bags. Very few Tailors could make them at the moment, so they were some of the hottest-selling items on the Auction House. Once listed, they were bought almost immediately.
Gabryell said, "Once you reach level 35, I'll give you Mageweave Cloth. Then take the boat from Menethil Harbor to Theramore Isle, raise your Tailoring to Artisan, and make 12-slot Mageweave Bags to sell."
Mageweave Bags were 12-slot bags and required 240 Tailoring. The recipe had to be learned on Theramore Isle. In the early game, they were one of the most profitable items Tailors could make. As long as you crafted them, there was no need to worry about sales.
Mageweave Cloth dropped in the Zul'Farrak graveyard. Once Snowlily reached level 35, Gabryell would give her all the Mageweave Cloth and have her turn it into Mageweave Bags. They would be worth several times more than simply listing the cloth on the Auction House. It was easy profit.
"I'll reach level 35 as soon as I can. I won't let you down."
With the cloth Gabryell supplied, Snowlily's Tailoring rose very quickly. She didn't feel like she was just a bag-making tool. She already had four 10-slot bags on her, and Gabryell gave her a commission every time he sold bags. She had far more gold than other players at the same level and was already a little rich.
After getting everything sorted, Gabryell first went to the Ironforge side of the Deeprun Tram to pick up Report to the Shimmering Flats. Then he teleported to Stormwind and took a gryphon back to Booty Bay.
His original plan had been to take the boat from Menethil Harbor to Theramore Isle, jump into the sea there, swim south along the coastline, make landfall at Steamwheedle Port, and reach Tanaris.
After running into NoTrace, his plan changed.
He couldn't just let a high-level Horde Mage keep killing Alliance lowbies. It would be rude not to return the favor. As the Alliance's top Mage, he had to give the Horde something back.
From Booty Bay, he took the boat to Ratchet in the Barrens, then headed south and took the Great Lift into Thousand Needles.
Thousand Needles was contested territory, so open PvP was fair game. There should be plenty of Horde players around level 30 there. Anyone he could kill, he would kill.
Of course, Gabryell wouldn't forget to report to the Shimmering Flats and pick up the Carrot on a Stick quest. Once the guys reached level 45, they would go to the Hinterlands and get the Mallet of Zul'Farrak.
A level 42 Mage was deadly. As long as the Horde players weren't grouped in a full five-man party, anyone who ran into him was dead.
Gabryell killed at least dozens of Horde players in Thousand Needles, leaving them crying for help. By the time the Horde organized people to surround and kill him, he had already gone to Gadgetzan.
After binding his Hearthstone in Gadgetzan, Gabryell left the city and headed to Zul'Farrak in the upper-left corner of Tanaris.
His level 42 solo dungeon career began with grave-robbing in Zul'Farrak.
