Chapter 9: The Girl Named Lira 1
Only people who are weak fight for the thing called equality.

Boom!
Dark tendrils smashed into the ground behind her.
Swoosh.
She propelled forward on the ball of light which appeared under her feet.
Thud.
She hopped unto the creatures tentacles, moving quickly towards the core of the beast.
Roar!
The corrupted beast roared, shooting more of its unworldly tentacles at her.
Whoosh.
She conjured a lance made of light, and every time the beast's arms reached her, she would slice them apart.
The sections the blade touched would leak null energy which dissipated into light.
Roar!
The beast, a tentacled corrupted lion roared with intense fury, its eyes turning black.
"From the bowels of the heavenly empire, the residence of light, one which pierces through all evil and abolishes the dark- Void pierce." In the shadows of the destroyed forest, a shining grimoire hovered above the palms of a mage.
A golden ball rose from the grimoire, and from that ball, a beam of light was shot.
Whistle.
It pierced through the beast's head, however, it didn't kill it, it just wounded the beast.
Boom.
A visible silhouette of a man carrying a sword appeared in the sky accompanied by a surge of mana.
_Luminous_
Jake burst down, his blade coated in light energy as he delivered the final blow to the beast, and it fell in a symphony of cries and explosions.
Boom!
A wave of energy blasted through the forest.
Lira, Amy and Jake stood together.
"The pills are better than the ones I got back in Cascyn." Lira said as she threw a couple of pills in her mouth. Her magic aura suddenly surged after a while.
"I agree, after all, the Erasure is an initiative funded by the nations of the world." Jake nodded, brandishing his sword and looking towards the horizon.
Roar!
A wave of corrupted beast approached.
_From the seat of the rising sun, the force that knows no limits, has no boundaries, light which permeates- Casting pass_
Two incoming corrupted exploded in a wave of light.
Jake put his sword forward, exerting energy on his legs.
Boom.
He shot forth on fire, like a missile.
When he was a few inches from the beasts, his blade caught fire, not the usual type, one just like light.
Swoosh. Boom.
_Luminous fire_
A crescent shot through the wave, destroying several of them before they reached him.
_ Lance game_
Lira stood far away, 5 light lances behind her as her hand outstretched towards the horde.
Swoosh.
The Lances moved, and when they landed…
Boom.
The beasts were wiped out.
"You did a good job." Eloise's voice rang from behind them.
"You were watching." Lira frowned turning to face the approaching Eloise.
"Your spear of Longinus has grown better." Eloise commended with a smile.
"You weren't supposed to." Lira's frown deepened. By then, Amy and Jake had already reached her side.
"Hello." They greeted.
"I'd hate to see a tragedy happen." Eloise said.
"I'm still not as good as the original though." Lira sighed.
Eloise shook her head "You too Amy, your spell casting speed has improved. Though, I believe you should start learning to create your own spells." Eloise turned to Amy.
Vroom.
Their conversation was disrupted by the arrival of a small carrier aviator.
