To live is to fight, and to lose is to die

The fight had long commenced, Adrian had personally handled Monica as he smelt his parents on her.
_Boom_
He pulled her whip, throwing her into a building.
He moved in, kicking her in the gut, sending her flying through several more buildings.
Swiish.
Darts were shot at him, he closed his wings, and they cause him no harm, but it gave Monica enough time to rise into the air.
_Boom_
The other woman landed a roundhouse kick on him midair, and not only were sonic waves created, she had pierced him with a poisoned shoe blade.
"Grr." He grunted, pulling her off and tossing her towards the ground.
He healed himself, then turned to Monica once again. "Where are my parents!" He roared, dashing towards her at a speed only possible in this form.
"I thought they were with you in hell?" She questioned with a smile, veins shooting from beneath her, holding Adrian in place.
"I smell them on you." His body constricted as the veins were set ablaze.
_ Inventory: The King's Blade_
A long sword appeared in his hands as he dashed forward once again.
Swoosh.
Gaz whizzed past him, Zethar following close behind him in his full draconic form.
She saw an open, and shot her whip to grab his sword, however –
_Phase_
She hadn't seen him use this spell yet, hence she was unprepared: He appeared behind her and slashed her back with the sword, sending her striking down.
_Phase_
He phased down again, about to pierce her heart, but –
_Swoosh_
Her veins saved her, covering her and pulling her into the ground.
"There is one thing you never touch in this world." Adrian said, flying up into the sky. "And that is my family."
A ball of mana appeared in the sky, then it shot down as he concluded his speech.
Monica's mana trail vanished – she was dead.
Then he turned Veronica.
She flew, her eyes teary, hundreds of daggers levitating behind her.
"Die!" They shot at Adrian, but this time, he wanted to traumatize – He wanted her to feel the weight of attacking the Wilberts, his family.
The mana connected to the daggers was disrupted, leading them all to fall.
_Swoosh_
He phased to her, grabbing her by the neck and lifting her.
She was powerless, the surrounding mana disobeyed her mageroot, answering only to Adrian's.
"I don't care if you foil my plans, just don't touch my family." He whispered into her ears.
_Boom_
Lightning struck down.
Somewhere else on the field.
Tobey stood face to face with one of the stronger assailants.
"You look strong." He said, adjusting his glasses.
"But you don't." The vampire said, the red circles in his eyes glowing as he stared at the golden arm of Tobey.
"This was something fascinating I got as a reward… for dying." Tobey lowered his head, his lips lifting up until he crackled into mad laughter.
Thud.
No one saw what happened, but the vampires arm fell to the ground.
"This is the thing about those who look strong." He raised his head to look at the vampire, terror apparent in his eyes as the wound begun closing. "They are often very weak."
"Die, you motherfucker!" Two gigantic bat wings outstretched from the vampire as he took to sky, his hand already grown back.
_Blood Assault_
Projectiles made of hardened blood shot from the vampire's hands.
"It doesn't matter what you do," A long sword appeared in Tobey's hand as he slashed at the incoming projectiles. "against true strength, weakness always shows." His face became stern, his eyes emanating a sort of coldness.
"I won' kill you." He rose on a piece of rock. "That would be a mercy, one you don't deserve after touching divinity… my god."
The vampires spectating were cut into tiny pieces by that same invisible force.
"Now tell me – what is it you fear?" The vampire general's wings were sliced off, but he didn't fall, something kept him a float.
"Is it me?" He held his heart in hand, yet he hadn't moved, at least no one so him move.
He was still alive somehow.
"That is the fascination of the magic made known to me by my master." The heart was no longer in hand, but back where it belong.
"So long as you can play on the imagination of men… they know terror." He whispered into the general's ears, his sword through him.
"Whether it is judgment, Armageddon, Terror or Ragnarok I shall deliver it for my master." The general dissipated.
