Chapter 60 - Chapter 60: Who Lost Their Cool?

Kakashi slowly turned around, not sparing a glance at the crumbling airship in the sky. Instead, his gaze settled on Koyuki Kazahana, who was still trembling behind him.

"Did you see that, Koyuki?"

"That man who called himself a 'god' is nothing more than a pathetic wretch fleeing in disgrace. Is this really the nightmare you've been afraid of all this time? In truth, the moment you dare to face him, you'll realize he was never invincible."

"There's no need to be afraid anymore. The Land of Snow will one day belong to you. This is your destiny—and a responsibility you can't run from."

At that moment, Sandayū Asano rushed to Koyuki's side without hesitation. Seeing how pale she was, his heart clenched painfully. He knelt down in the snow and pleaded:

"Princess! Please, steady yourself! Everyone is watching you—the people of the Land of Snow are waiting!"

Koyuki bit her lip hard, her hands gripping the hem of her clothes as her stiff body trembled.

Seeing her remain silent, Kakashi shook his head, his tone growing heavier.

"Open your eyes and look carefully."

"The me who could only grab you and run back then has grown strong enough to decide the outcome of a battlefield."

"And you? You've been running away long enough. It's time to wake up, Koyuki Kazahana."

Just then, a heart-pounding mechanical grinding echoed from the sky.

The damaged airship hadn't given up. Doto Kazahana had completely lost his sanity.

"All of you—go to hell!!!"

The armor plates on the underside of the airship split open, revealing pitch-black muzzles.

"Team 7! Use your strongest attacks—bring him down!"

"Yes!!"

"Watch me! Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Naruto roared as smoke exploded around him, dozens of shadow clones appearing instantly.

"Wind Release: Gale Palm!"

The clones in the rear row unleashed violent gusts—not at the airship, but straight into the backs of the front-line clones forming Rasengan.

"Take this!! Rasengan Barrage!!"

At the same time, Sakura and Haku completed their coordination.

"Water Release: Iron Cannon!"

Sakura formed seals and fired a high-pressure water projectile.

"Ice Release: Breaking Dragon Fierce Tiger!"

The water instantly froze mid-air, transforming into a crystalline ice dragon with bared fangs. Driven by the water's momentum, it roared skyward.

"It's not over yet! Summoning Jutsu!"

Sasuke bit his finger and slammed his palm onto the ground.

Poof!

White smoke cleared, revealing a small monkey wearing a tiger-skin loincloth—Enra.

"Sasuke, are we attacking like this?"

"Transform, Enra!"

"Roger! Adamantine Staff Form!"

Enra instantly transformed into a long, slender adamantine staff that fell into Sasuke's hands.

"Chidori!!"

The shrill cry of a thousand birds pierced the sky.

"Extend!!"

The staff surged forward, launching Sasuke upward like a spear and sending him flying to the same height as the airship.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Naruto's Rasengan and Sakura and Haku's combined Ice attack slammed into the airship one after another, detonating in bursts of fire and ice. The massive craft lurched violently, its firing trajectory thrown completely off.

Seizing the opening, Sasuke drove the Chidori straight into the airship's wing engine.

"Fall… for me!!!"

"The final blow."

Lightning gathered once more in Kakashi's hand, compressed to the absolute extreme.

"Lightning Release: Chidori Sharp Spear!!"

Zzzzt—!!

A slender, blinding lightning spear shot from Kakashi's fingertips, piercing cleanly through the airship.

RUMBLE—!!

A massive explosion bloomed across the sky like a firework.

With its power lost, the airship belched thick black smoke and crashed diagonally into the icy plains amid screams, sending snow billowing everywhere.

The battle was over.

Kakashi led everyone toward the wreckage.

Doto Kazahana, covered in blood, crawled out from the debris. His Chakra Armor was completely shattered, his eyes filled with resentment and madness.

"Cough… cough… You… you bastards…"

Ignoring his curses, Kakashi pulled out a sharp kunai and handed it to Koyuki.

"The choice is yours."

He looked at her—still trembling, yet with change already taking root in her eyes.

"You can throw that kunai away and continue being an actress who runs from everything, waiting for others to save her."

"Or you can hold it, sever your nightmare with your own hands, shoulder the fate of the Land of Snow, and become its true Queen."

Koyuki's hands shook as she took the cold kunai.

She looked at her uncle—once so arrogant, now sprawled on the ground like a dead dog. Memories of her father's death and years of exile surged through her mind.

Doto struggled to lift his head. Seeing Koyuki approach, he sneered contemptuously.

"Heh… hehe… You want to kill me?"

"You're still the same coward, my dear niece."

"Look at your hands—shaking like that. A useless person like you will never—"

Pfft!

The sound of steel piercing flesh cut him off.

Warm blood splashed across the white snow like a blooming red lotus.

Koyuki gripped the kunai with both hands, driving it straight through Doto's neck. Tears streamed down her face, but her eyes were steadier than ever.

"Goodbye, Uncle."

Doto's eyes widened. A gurgling sound escaped his throat before his pupils finally lost focus, his body collapsing onto the land he had coveted for so long.

The wind and snow gradually subsided.

Sunlight pierced through the perpetual gloom.

With Doto Kazahana's death, the rebellion came to a complete end.

Under everyone's gaze, Koyuki walked toward the mysterious Rainbow Ice Wall.

With trembling hands, she inserted the hexagonal crystal pendant—the key to the Land of Snow's secret—into the control panel.

There was no gold, no weapons of destruction.

With a thunderous roar, the Rainbow Ice Wall blazed with light as the Geothermal Generator activated.

Warm air swept across the frozen land. Millennia-old snow melted before their eyes, revealing dark, fertile soil. Tender green grass broke through the earth as the frigid Land of Snow transformed into the vibrant Land of Spring.

Gazing at the dreamlike scene, Koyuki finally smiled in relief. She had reclaimed her nation—and herself—ascending as the rightful Queen of the Land of Snow.

Team 7's mission was complete.

---

A few months later, in a cinema near a certain underground black market.

Princess Fuka and the Silver Guardian was showing.

The theater was packed. Popcorn rustled as the audience stared intently at the screen.

In the corner of the back row sat a man in a black cloak patterned with red clouds. An orange spiral mask covered his face, revealing only a single right eye. He held a half-eaten bucket of popcorn.

It was Tobi, an intern of the Akatsuki.

"Everyone's busy, so Tobi can only watch a movie alone for fun~"

On the screen, the story reached its climax.

Against a backdrop of wind and snow, a silver-haired masked ninja stood with his back to the camera before slowly turning his head. His eyes were deep and melancholic.

The Kakashi on screen spoke softly:

"I'm just a… ghost who lost his way in life."

"As for my name…"

"Just call me… Obito."

Crack!

The popcorn bucket was crushed in an instant, kernels scattering across the floor.

In the dim theater, the lone eye behind the mask lost all its silliness, replaced by bloodshot fury.

"Ha… haha…"

The goofy tone vanished, replaced by the chilling voice of Uchiha Madara.

"Good… very good…"

"Kakashi Hatake…"

Veins bulged as he stared at the man on screen using his name.

"You trash who couldn't even protect Rin… how dare you use that name?"

"And in such a disgusting tone… in a third-rate movie!!"

Killing intent spread through the theater like frost.

The audience shivered. A boy in front turned around—only to meet a glowing Sharingan in the darkness.

"What are you looking at?"

"N-nothing!"

He fled with his girlfriend in terror.

"Ghost!!"

On the screen, Kakashi continued tenderly:

"I'm not that strong."

"I just want to create a world… without sacrifice."

Obito's eyes snapped wide.

"Are you kidding me…"

Boom!!

A violent surge of Chakra erupted. Three rows of seats shattered instantly.

Screams filled the theater.

"Earthquake!!"

"The projector exploded!!"

Only the red-clouded figure remained standing.

Kamui twisted space, warping Kakashi's face on the screen into a swirling black vortex.

"Humph…"

Obito vanished.

Outside, in a dark alley, Zetsu emerged.

"What's wrong, Obito?" Black Zetsu rasped.

"Where's Tobi?" White Zetsu asked innocently.

"That bastard Kakashi…" Obito growled.

"He stole my name to pick up girls… unforgivable."

White Zetsu blinked. "So… a copyright issue?"

Silence.

"Unforgivable," Obito hissed.

"I'm going to Amegakure. Tell Nagato to start the plan—now."

He vanished again.

Black Zetsu sneered at the poster of Kakashi and Koyuki.

"If it were the real Uchiha Madara," he said,

"the screen would already be split in half by Susanoo."

---

Meanwhile, in Konoha.

Kakashi sat cross-legged on a tatami mat, staring at piles of cash.

"Ten million… twenty million…"

His Sharingan flickered unconsciously.

"Movies really are more profitable than being a ninja…"

Suddenly, a chill ran down his spine.

"Achoo!!"

The money scattered.

Outside—

RUMBLE!!

"Fire!!"

"The Hokage Building was struck by lightning!!"

Kakashi stared, stunned.

"On such a clear day…?"

A furious roar echoed across Konoha:

"Which bastard is attracting lightning and ruining my sake?! Get out here and face death!!!"
