Adam was the first one to snap out of the collective state of shock that had gripped the group.
He took a few steps toward Jayden and Ethan, his eyes darting between their faces and their joined hands with a look of pure bewilderment.
He stopped just a few feet away, crossing his arms over his chest as he processed the sight before him.
"What exactly happened in that office?" Adam asked, his voice echoing in the quiet evening air.
"Why are you guys walking around holding hands like that? You two were literally punching each other into the dirt just this afternoon. Please don't tell me that after you settled your differences, you decided to skip the apology and start dating instead."
Both Ethan and Jayden began to speak at the exact same time, their voices overlapping in a chaotic mess of denials.
