The surface of Sector 4 was a graveyard of twisted steel. The 2nd Division Captains—Drayke, Reid, and Liora—approached Zane with their heads bowed, their bodies rattling from the lingering gravitational hum.
"Report," Zane commanded. His voice didn't just break the silence; it seemed to command the wind to stop blowing.
Reid stepped forward, his voice tight. "Sir... the situation is worse than we thought. We found high-yield glowing crates been transported by smugglers and had an alien protecting them.but that's not all.
The 10th Division... they're gone. We've swept the perimeter multiple times. Kaelen, Jaxen, Renji—the entire unit has vanished."
Zane's eyes narrowed, a flicker of genuine surprise crossing his cold features. "An entire division... missing?" "Yes, sir," Drayke added. "And there's more. We found a masked man named Skull. He was spotted transport the glowing crates, but we lost his trail near the Agri-Prime sector.
We don't know where they went, or if they're even alive."
Zane looked at the crater beneath his feet. He didn't know about the hollow chambers deep below yet, but he knew the smell of a trap. He turned to the 2nd Division soldiers standing in awe.
"Spread out," Zane's voice boomed, vibrating through their very marrow. "I want every inch of this sector—and the surrounding districts—searched. If a single Xenocide is breathing, I want them found. If they are dead, I want the head of whatever killed them I'll send reinforcement "
As the 2nd Division scrambled to obey, other units of the xenocides began spreading out from each sector to find any trace of the 10th division.
The Underground:
Deep below, the atmosphere was suffocating. Skull stood over Elias, his Black Flames flickering low. He could feel Zane's power vibrating through the ceiling, and it made him desperate.
" Your eyes, I can see it you're no hero ,
" You want revenge, don't you? You want to watch the world that spat on you burn to ash."
Skull leaned in, his voice a jagged rasp. "Who was it? A sister? A mother? I can give you the power to tear their killers apart. All you have to do is let go of these losers."
Elias said nothing. Then, Skull lunged. The following minute was a massacre. Skull didn't just fight; he dismantled. Every strike shattered a rib or tore skin. Finally, a heavy blow to the temple sent Elias's world black.
"Damn it stand up, dam it , damn it, dam it, damnnnnnnn"
Elias stood up. He ascended,
" Yes I want revenge, I want destruction but, destruction is gonna bring about peace I'm gonna erase monsters like you who threaten the peace of this world," just like Jaxen said humanity is"disgusting "but who I'm I too judge, but I'm gonna do the right thing, I'm.. gonna fight for those who can't and stand for those who can't, I've been selfish this entire time,it . I thought being strong meant surviving the carnage. But I was wrong.
" I now... Know why I joined the xenocides, it's because, I can protect does who mean very much to mean and so no one else has to go through what I have.
You hurt my team. You tried to break the only family I have left. And for them? I'll shatter the world you stand on.
His left arm and the injures on his entire body started glowing with a white-hot resonance. Cells knitted together; bone regrew like crystal. In a flash of blinding light, his arm was whole. His eyes were clear, shimmering with a frequency that cracked the floor.
Let the fight begin."
