"Idiot!"
Facing Ivan Vanko's provocation, Tony shattered the man's composure with just one word.
"You think this is actually going to work on me? You're just like your old man—always clinging to someone else's coat-tails. You're nothing but a scavenger eating the Stark family's leftovers!"
"That palladium reactor you're using? I phased that out months ago."
"The new element reactor I'm running now has energy conversion and storage efficiency dozens of times higher than palladium. You could charge your own reactor until it explodes, and you still wouldn't be able to suck me dry, you moron!" Tony mocked Vanko with effortless disdain.
Hearing that Tony had already completed the upgrade to a new element reactor, Ivan Vanko's face paled. An unprecedented thought surged into his mind. His father had never proposed the concept of a new element; he had always maintained that palladium was the pinnacle.
Could it be... that my father lied to me? Was he the real thief all along?
These chaotic thoughts flashed through Ivan's mind for only a second before he ruthlessly suppressed them. He knew there was no turning back.
If he wanted to be the superior scientist, Tony Stark had to die. If the second-place student wants to beat the first-place student, the most efficient way isn't to study harder—it's to make sure the top student can never take another test!
Ivan suppressed his inner turmoil and sneered, "Unlucky for you, I happen to have a group of 'tools' surrounding me who won't let go, even if they're charged until they detonate!"
Tony and Natasha's expressions both hardened instantly. They looked at the Red Room agents surrounding them, their whips still tightly coiled around the heroes.
The light from the arc reactors on the girls' chests was becoming blindingly bright; the armor on their arms began to smoke and warp under the sheer volume of siphoned energy.
Yet... they didn't let go.
Boom!
The mechanical gauntlet of a young agent exploded, sending metal shards deep into her flesh. Her arm was a bloody mess from the blast, yet her eyes remained hollow and expressionless. Her hands stayed clamped onto the whip handles as if they had been welded shut.
"Fuck!"
This time, it was Tony whose composure shattered. Despite being a playboy, he harbored no twisted fetishes; he couldn't stand the sight of beautiful young women dying like disposable tools right in front of him.
"Peter!" he roared toward his comrade. "Stop fucking watching the show! Use your invincible superpowers and do something!"
Not far away, Peter—who had been casually knocking out any agents who charged him—glanced back and turned his head back with perfect calm.
"Small problem. Natasha can handle this."
"Are you kidding me?" Tony's face was livid. "She can barely save herself right now, how is she supposed to—"
Crackle! SNAP!
Before Tony could finish, the piercing sound of electrical discharges erupted nearby. He jerked his head around to see Natasha's suit suddenly regain its power system. With raw force, she snapped every single whip coiled around her body, reclaiming her freedom in an instant.
Tony stared, dumbfounded. "Wait... how? I don't remember installing a 'whip-snapping' feature in that suit?"
Natasha looked back at him, retracted her faceplate, and offered a slight, knowing smile.
"Who said I was relying on the suit's power system to move?"
Tony: ???
He was baffled for a moment, but the realization hit him like a freight train. He watched as Natasha deactivated the black-gold tech suit entirely. Then, a viscous, blue-white substance enveloped her, forming a different, skin-tight suit.
Facing a Red Room agent charging in a mechanized exoskeleton, Natasha executed a perfect 'deflect and launch' maneuver. She grabbed the agent's arm and threw the armored woman clear across the room!
That was a steel-reinforced suit. Even a light model, with the pilot inside, weighed at least five or six hundred pounds. She had tossed it like a ragdoll.
Only then did Tony realize the truth. There was no "special power system"—she had been using the thousand-pound suit as mere clothing, driving the armor with nothing but her own terrifying physical strength!
Fine, fine. So out of the three of us, I'm the only 'normal' human, huh?
As Tony was grumbling internally, he witnessed something even more impossible.
Natasha let out a low, beast-like growl from her throat. A series of sharp, rhythmic cracks echoed as her skeletal structure shifted and expanded.
Her frame surged to over two meters in height. Her short, fire-red hair grew wildly until it reached her waist, turning a gradient of icy blue at the tips.
A pair of white wolf ears pricked up from her hair, and a snow-white, fluffy tail extended from the base of her spine, swaying gently in the cold air.
Silver-white fur spread across the backs of her hands, forearms, and cheeks. Her pupils shifted from green to icy blue slits.
Makami (Great True God) · Semi-Beast Form!
A wave of intense cold erupted from Natasha's body. Thick ice formed beneath her feet, spreading across the floor at lightning speed.
Simultaneously, Peter twisted the dial on his watch, and his body underwent a rapid transformation. Icy blue patterns covered his skin, and his deep brown eyes turned a piercing scarlet.
Frost Giant Form!
Transformed into a Frost Giant, Peter locked eyes with the lupine Natasha. He threw his hands open, and two visible whirlwinds coalesced in his palms.
The moment he hurled the cyclones forward, Natasha leapt high into the air with perfect synchronization, exhaling a concentrated blast of freezing breath.
The breath merged with the spinning winds, instantly creating a massive, localized frost tornado within the underground chamber. Wherever the tornado passed, the temperature plummeted.
Those machine-like Red Room agents only had to be grazed by the storm to be instantly flash-frozen, their bodies locked in place, completely incapacitated.
Watching this unforgettable scene, Tony stood frozen.
Triple-six (666), they even have a team-up ultimate!
Practicing a combo move behind my back and not inviting me, huh?
On the other side, the grimace-like smile on Ivan Vanko's face froze. Seeing the terrifying storm approaching, he desperately tried to detach his whips and crank his thrusters to the max to flee.
But before he could lift off, a cold snort sounded beside him:
"Hmph, you think you're escaping?"
With the other agents frozen, Tony's power systems had fully recovered. He grabbed the whips Ivan had previously coiled around him and, leveraging his superior propulsion system, swung Ivan Vanko directly into the heart of the frost tornado.
As he watched Ivan Vanko flash-freeze and shatter into a pile of crimson ice crystals upon hitting the ground, Tony let out a satisfied whistle.
