Everyone was seated in the living room, all of them glaring at Seraphina with hatred, except for Aleena, who still looked terrified and curious at the same time.
"Sister, where's Jacob?" Aleena asked impatiently.
"Aleena! What the heck is going on here? Why did your older sister kidnap Jacob?" the others asked, feeling completely left out of the situation.
Aleena sighed and motioned for them to calm down.
"Please, have some patience. My sister must have a reason."
Seraphina didn't say anything. Instead, she ordered Rhalia to serve everyone some drinks.
"Sister, can you tell me what happened now?" Aleena asked after taking a sip of the tea that had been served to her.
Seraphina remained silent and simply pointed toward the wall.
Everyone's eyes followed her finger and landed on the picture frames hanging on the wall.
"W-What? H-How come?" Aleena stuttered, her eyes beginning to tear up as she held her stomach.
