The growth of the beast and plant populations was equally remarkable. As generations reproduced and competed within increasingly rich environments, exceptional individuals gradually emerged from the strongest beast groups and plant populations. The number of Desolate Beasts and Desolate Plants had risen from slightly over twenty to nearly sixty. Two had even broken through to the Ancient Desolate level: an Ancient Fusang Tree nurtured under the long-term influence of Sunflame Valley, and an Ancient Thunder Dragon that emerged within Divine Firmament Thunder Pool.
Counting immortal material resources points, Desolate Beasts, Desolate Plants, and other resources of similar value, Flame Sovereign Blessed Land now contained around two hundred immortal resource points. Mortal resources had developed on an even greater scale, with more than a thousand different products spread throughout the four major regions. Many were individually insignificant to Lin Yan, but together they formed the lower layers of the blessed land's economy and supported the development of its immortal resources. The radiance of the crimson moon and dark sun intertwined across the region, dyeing the surrounding mountains and caves in strange shades of red and black.
Although their light appeared gentle from afar, the heat contained within it was astonishing. Crimson flames repeatedly surged from cracks in the mountains, carrying traces of the two celestial bodies' radiance throughout the surrounding environment. Numerous Flame Path Gu worms and immortal materials were distributed across the region, continuously absorbing, transforming, and releasing this energy. Tenacious plants covered the heated ground, while beast groups adapted to the environment wandered through the mountains and underground caverns.
These were the two newly constructed giant resource points, Crimson Moon Grotto and Fallen Sun Mausoleum.
Crimson Moon Grotto was centered around Crimson Moon Blazing Heart Jade, while Fallen Sun Mausoleum used Fallen Sun Demonic Earth as its most important resource. Lin Yan had combined them with numerous compatible Flame Path immortal materials, including Setting Sun Glow and Twilight Fire, before using the resource-point construction methods recorded in the Startling Divinity True Inheritance to establish two stable ecosystems. Instead of simply producing a single immortal material, the resources within each region circulated through one another, allowing several different products to be harvested without exhausting their environment.
With these additions, Flame Sovereign Blessed Land now possessed seven giant resource points. Each could eventually produce resources worth more than three thousand immortal essence stones annually, while their combined current output had already reached roughly twenty thousand. Together with nearly two hundred other immortal resource points of different sizes, the annual income of Flame Sovereign Blessed Land had risen to around forty thousand immortal essence stones, several times more than before.
This increase had naturally occurred slowly rather than appearing all at once. As the blessed land developed over the past two hundred years, new resource points emerged, existing ones expanded, and their annual production continued increasing. Following the sensation, Lin Yan arrived beside Enduring Love Water. The clear river continued flowing peacefully, but a strange aura had begun gathering within one section of the current. Heaven and earth qi slowly converged around it, accompanied by traces of dao marks that gradually condensed together. Under Lin Yan's gaze, the indistinct shape became increasingly solid until it formed a Gu worm resembling a small ginseng root.
Lin Yan immediately recognized it. "Lifespan Gu! And it's a thirty-year Lifespan Gu."
