Solomon sat himself down on the chair, crossing one leg over the other and taking on a confident look.
He knew this was an important moment. He was about to meet a new worshipper and knew that first impressions were most important.
With a hand, he gestured towards the seat opposite and said, "Come and join me."
Slowly, the figure rose to her feet and made her way over towards the wooden chair. As she sat down, the clouds surrounding her body had slowly started to fade.
Eventually, a woman was revealed, sitting in the chair with a perplexed look on her cute face.
She was dressed in a white long-sleeved shirt and a short black skirt, with tights that clung to her plump, smooth thighs. She also wore reading glasses that gave her a nerdy look.
Her hair was blonde, falling straight, stopping at her shoulders, and her skin was very slightly bronzed by time spent in the sun. She also held a piece of paper in her hand, which took Solomon by surprise. Now he knew it was possible for objects to be brought into the circus tent.
Solomon remained seated there, not saying a word. After all, it was the young girl who had prayed to him. There was a clear reason.
As the blonde nerdy girl noticed the man in the clown suit watching her, her green eyes went wide.
"A-are you...?" She stuttered, unsure of what to say next.
Am I what, a god?
Solomon didn't answer. Her question was not clear enough.
Noticing this, the woman blushed red and suddenly seemed to become nervous.
"I-i'm sorry, are you a god? The Clown, god of information?"
There we go.
Solomon remained confident as he spoke.
"I am."
More nerves ran through the woman's body. She seemed stuck on what to say.
Despite having prayed to this god, it was clear that she hadn't expected him to respond to her in such a direct manner.
It worked... She thought to herself. The prayer was a true prayer that actually worked!
With all the religions and gods I've studied, there has never been a god that has answered my prayers so directly.
She then stared at Solomon's white hair and handsome face.
A-are all gods this attractive?!
Solomon noticed that the woman was clearly stunned with shock. He wanted to keep playing the role of a nonchalant god; however, he believed that if he didn't speak, she would remain silent the whole time.
So he decided to take the initiative.
"Your religious studies, how have they been?" He asked in a smooth casual tone.
Immediately, the girl became stunned. How had he known that she was studying religion?
In truth, it was just a guess from the clown. He had left his prayer in a few religious texts scattered throughout the Library of Alexandria, specifically the unpopular ones. If anyone were to stumble across his prayer, they would have to be seriously interested in the topic.
"M-my studies are going well, Mister..." Her words trailed off, uncertain of what title to use when speaking to the god in front of her.
Solomon flashed her a smile. "Just call me The Clown."
"Okay, Mister Clown."
Slowly, the woman was beginning to recognise Solomon, who was truthfully a mere transmigrator, as an actual god. With a few more carefully made guesses, she would truly have no more reason to doubt his knowledge.
"You have prayed to the God of Information. What do you seek?"
The woman was caught off guard by the question.
What do I seek? She thought carefully. I seek nothing.
From her perspective, it was a privilege to have her prayers truly answered by a god, and even being allowed to come face to face with them. It was now her desire to earn the gods' favour by serving him in any way she possibly could.
After all, she had a love for religion that was deeper than anyone else she had ever met. No god had answered her prayers to such an extent before, so in her opinion, this Clown was the greatest of all the gods!
"I wish to serve you, Mister Clown. I would like to offer my deepest thanks for being allowed to sit in your presence." She spoke as she bowed her head respectfully.
This even caught Solomon off guard. He had only just met this woman, and she seemed to already respect him as much as Lucy Windelle did.
Does that mean she is officially a worshipper of the clown?
I must learn more about her to see what uses she may have... Other than her beauty, of course.
"Thank you for your prayers. Tell me about yourself, young lady."
The woman adjusted her glasses and brushed a strand of blonde hair away from her tanned face.
"O-of course. My name is Aurora Bright, and I'm a travelling religious scholar. I studied at Sungate University until I turned eighteen, and just started my travels this month." She explained with enthusiasm.
Solomon raised a brow, before quickly hiding his surprise.
Sungate University? Isn't that a University in the southern islands? That explains the darker skin complexion. She's not from here.
Having a religious scholar as a worshipper brings me many benefits. I could use her to help form a connection between other gods.
Solomon nodded his head, acknowledging the woman's story.
"So what brings you to The Eastern Islands, particularly the Kingdom of Olaria?"
Aurora answered straight away. "Because I adore Juniper, the god of restoration. I wanted to learn more about her first and, hopefully, offer her my prayers. I've heard that the powers of her vein are extremely powerful! B-but of course, I am even happier that I was able to meet you instead, Mister Clown."
Ah, don't worry. I have met the God of Restoration, and I can hardly blame you for adoring her. If only you were able to see what she looked like when riding on top of me.
Then suddenly, an idea entered Solomon's mind. A risky plan that he felt he had to act on.
Before he started, he spoke in his head, directing the words to the god of restoration. He was uncertain of whether she could even hear him.
Juniper, forgive me for what I am about to say to this woman. It's for the greater good.
Solomon leaned forward in his chair, placing one elbow on his knee and propping his chin up on his palm.
"If you would like, I can show you the powers of the god of restoration. She and I are close allies."
Aurora's breath caught in her throat as she struggled to believe what she was hearing.
The Clown is Allied with the god of restoration, the one who is worshipped by two entire kingdoms in the Eastern Islands?!
She was struggling to grasp the capabilities of this white-haired Clown's powers. Just how many gods did he know? She started to feel incredibly lucky to have her prayers answered, and all the more desperate to follow the Clown with her entire heart.
"I would love that!"
Solomon nodded. "Good, but first, I'll need you to do something for me."
"Anything," Aurora responded without taking even a breath. "I am prepared to do anything, if it means pleasing you, Mister Clown."
The corner of Solomon's lips twisted into a smile.
Don't be so quick to give your answer, Aurora Bright.
"I would like for you to touch yourself in front of me, until you orgasm."
