That night, outside N Company, the crowds were like a sea. Everyone who wanted to capture September Days and earn the bounty was gathered there, just waiting for September Days to appear.
Ryusei and his group were among them, but because they had to wait for Ryusei to wake up, they arrived late and could only stay on the outermost edge of the crowd.
"Young Master, what should we do now? This place is about to be swamped by detectives." Bun felt powerless looking at the dense crowd. He had tried to use his physical advantage to get in earlier, but he was thrown out almost immediately.
"With so many people, it will be too difficult for us to catch September Days, unless we get rid of these accomplices." Ryusei looked at the dense crowd, thinking about how to deal with them. The injuries Ryusei sustained fighting October had mostly recovered, but facing this many people, he still felt overwhelmed.
"Leave it to me." Qi Xiaosai, who was nearby, flipped his hair, then quickly ran off in one direction.
Ryusei wanted to ask Qi Xiaosai what he planned to do, but Qi Xiaosai ran too fast and disappeared instantly.
"Young Master, look!" Xiao Fei suddenly shouted, pointing at the sky.
"What is it?" Ryusei looked up at the sky and instantly widened his eyes. A huge stone slab was descending from the sky, aiming right for the crowd.
"Boom!"
The stone slab fell from the air, instantly knocking dozens of people to the ground. Strangely, no one was injured; they were just pinned to the ground and had fainted.
"Boom!"
Suddenly, an explosion sounded within the crowd, and dozens more people dropped to the ground instantly.
Ryusei's jaw dropped, thinking, "Surely all this wasn't done by Qi Xiaosai? That's ruthless!"
The situation hadn't stopped. Countless objects rained down from the sky: vases, beds, Ryusei even saw a piano! Qi Xiaosai was truly a ruthless person!
"Young Master, let's hurry up and go." Bun quickly reminded him, shielding his head with both hands.
"Ah... right! Let's hurry inside." Ryusei reacted, pulling Bun and the rest of the group as they quickly moved through the scattered crowd, constantly changing direction to dodge the falling objects.
"Bang!"
Suddenly, a person dropped right in front of Ryusei—it was Qi Xiaosai.
"How miserable." Ryusei couldn't help but sigh as he looked at Qi Xiaosai, who was face-down on the ground. He then picked up the unconscious Qi Xiaosai, placed him on his head to act as a shield, and started sprinting through the crowd!
After enduring a series of hardships, Ryusei and the others finally reached the inner perimeter, though there was still a considerable distance to the interior.
Ryusei tossed Qi Xiaosai off his head and began thinking about how to cross the final distance.
"Young Master, I have an idea!" Bun suddenly said. "If you put on women's clothes and pretend to be the N Company Chairman's girlfriend, wouldn't you be able to sneak right inside?"
"..."
Ryusei fell silent. He had only just managed to change out of women's clothes, yet he had to put them on again so soon. Was he truly destined to never escape cross-dressing in this lifetime?
Ryusei looked at the crowd before him, then at the women's clothes Bun had already pulled out, and sighed deeply.
"Move aside! This is N Company's Chairman's new girlfriend!"
"This is the place."
The woman arrived in front of a glass cabinet tightly sealed with ropes. Inside the cabinet was the compass she had worked so hard to find.
After expending some effort, the woman finally retrieved the compass from the glass cabinet.
"It's not nice to impersonate others so casually~"
The woman was startled and looked back. There was a person standing in the shadows.
"Are you the International Thief September Days?!" The woman was extremely surprised. She hadn't expected her luck to be this bad. She thought she was lucky today, having easily obtained the compass, but she never imagined that the real September Days would appear before her.
"Who else would it be besides me?" September smiled. "If I hadn't already taken care of the security systems here, do you think it would have been so easy for you to get what's in your hands?"
"You did it?!" The woman looked at September in surprise. No wonder it was so easy.
"I don't know why you impersonated me, but I'm not planning to pursue anything against you." September held out a hand. "But you must hand over what you have. It doesn't belong to you."
"I won't hand it over to you!" The woman's emotions suddenly flared up. "I won't give my Family Heirloom to you group of bandits, even if I die!"
"Huh? What the heck is a bandit?!" September was confused. How did they suddenly become bandits?
"I will never let you succeed!"
Seeing this, September made no unnecessary movements. She raised her arm to block and silently chanted, "Enhance!"
Strange blue patterns suddenly appeared on September's arm, easily blocking the woman's flying kick. Then, September immediately threw a punch
toward the woman, though she controlled her strength. Even so, the woman was forcefully knocked back a considerable distance.
The woman clutched her stomach in pain, having never expected September Days's strength to be so immense.
Looking at the door behind her, the woman knew she couldn't waste any more time. She quickly turned around and fled outside. September didn't stop her, simply watching.
