At the dining table, the Imperial Princess reluctantly ate the dishes Asagami Fujino placed on her plate. The Imperial Princess wanted to resist, but as soon as she looked into Asagami Fujino's eyes, she strangely became unable to refuse.
Just like that, Asagami Fujino began feeding the Imperial Princess. Everyone else felt things were strange, and Jibril watched enviously, wishing she could be fed too.
"What are you planning to do next?" Touko put down her chopsticks and looked at Asagami Fujino.
"Those people will be summoning their Servants tonight. Well, it's starting soon." Asagami Fujino also put down her chopsticks, letting the Imperial Princess go. The Imperial Princess quickly hugged Viy tightly in her arms.
"Oh right, how is Irisviel?" Asagami Fujino almost forgot.
"It's all done. We can wake her up whenever. I've also taken the Lesser Grail out of her body," Touko said.
"Thank you for your trouble." Asagami Fujino smiled at Touko.
"By the way, where are Big Sister Lia and Scáthach?" Aoko asked from the side.
"They said they were going to spar, and they ate beforehand," Jibril replied.
"I see. No problem." Asagami Fujino shrugged, then looked at the Imperial Princess beside her: "Come, I'll feed you."
"I can eat by myself," the Imperial Princess muttered quietly, lowering her head.
Unfortunately, it had no effect. Asagami Fujino forcibly pulled the Imperial Princess closer, picked up her chopsticks, and fed her. Seeing the Imperial Princess look unhappy about being fed by Fujino only made Fujino think she was cuter.
Cute, wants to 'do it'—this was Asagami Fujino's current inner thought.
The people nearby watched the two of them helplessly, while the Little Lolis looked on with great curiosity.
At the Tohsaka Family residence, Kirei Kotomine was reporting to Tohsaka Tokiomi.
"Master, it has been confirmed that the Magus of the Root is indeed in Fuyuki City. This information has been verified by Mr. Zelretch, the second magus."
"Is that so?" Tohsaka Tokiomi looked at the scenery outside the window. After a moment of silence, he asked: "Do we know where the Magus of the Root is currently located in Fuyuki City?"
"We know already. She is on Mount Enzō," Kirei Kotomine replied.
"It's there, of all places." Tohsaka Tokiomi was slightly surprised. He remembered that area being completely empty before, yet suddenly the Magus of the Root appeared. However, thinking of the person's miraculous nature, Tohsaka Tokiomi didn't dwell on it, as the person was capable of freely entering The Root.
The Root is what Magicians pursue their entire lives, yet the Magus of the Root possesses the ability to travel freely back and forth to The Root. When this news was first released, it caused a massive uproar throughout the entire Magecraft World. Many found it hard to believe, but when they learned it was spread by the second magus, Zelretch, the credibility greatly increased. Later, an image of the Magus of the Root traveling to The Root was circulated from the Clock Tower, and at that point, all the Magicians believed it.
"Master, there is one more thing," Kirei Kotomine said. "The item you purchased is about to be delivered. It is expected to arrive in Fuyuki City this afternoon."
"Very good." Tohsaka Tokiomi nodded, feeling somewhat relieved by the news.
On the other side of Fuyuki City, Waver, who was dissatisfied that his accomplishments were not recognized and wanted to prove himself, learned about the Holy Grail War ritual held in the Far East from a library. He subsequently stole the Holy Relic that his teacher and mentor, Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald, had prepared for the Holy Grail War. After arriving in Fuyuki City, he used Magecraft to hypnotize an ordinary elderly couple into believing Waver was their child, establishing this as his base of operations.
Holding the wild chicken he had struggled greatly to catch, Waver looked up at the sky, waiting for night to fall.
On another side of Fuyuki City, a fairy-like girl walked happily along a path covered in fallen leaves. The girl's face held an irrepressible smile, and she hummed something softly, like a song.
Following behind her was a Fox-Eared Girl wearing a blue Miko Outfit.
