Heavenly Strike, one of the attack spells mastered by Jibril.
It possesses immense destructive power. In terms of the Type-Moon World, it should be comparable to an A-rank Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm. In the timeline further back during the Great War 6,000 years ago in the No Game No Life world, Jibril released a "Heavenly Strike" powerful enough to destroy the capital of the Elves and swept away all their grimoires.
However, a Heavenly Strike of such power is impossible for humans to master. Furthermore, Jibril's method of using Heavenly Strike relies on her unique Spirit Corridor, whereas the Magic Circuits of this world simply cannot withstand the load brought by Heavenly Strike. The version Aozaki Touko is using now is merely a weakened version that Asagami Fujino and Jibril modified several times to reduce its power and allow Magic Circuits to support its use.
Nevertheless, even though it is a weakened Heavenly Strike, its power is still comparable to a B-rank Noble Phantasm, and most magi have no way to resist it.
Terrifying, oppressive lightning surged from the magic circle behind Aozaki Touko, the violent electricity surging wildly toward Aoko Aozaki and Alice Kuonji on the opposite side.
The expressions of the two changed simultaneously. The violent aura within the lightning made them truly feel the breath of death. Aoko Aozaki channeled the magical energy in her body, firing off Magic Bullets aimlessly toward the lightning released by the Heavenly Strike.
"Damn it, did that person forget to cancel the supply to this idiot?!" Aozaki Touko couldn't help but grit her teeth at this sight. Aoko Aozaki's body still carried the aura of Asagami Fujino's magical energy.
On the other side, in a place surrounded by rock walls, Asagami Fujino and Black Lancer Artoria were there. Suddenly, Asagami Fujino thought of something: "Ara, I actually forgot to cancel the enhancement the Marks brought to those two. I wonder if Tohko has lost by now. Oh well, I'll just cancel it first."
With a single thought, the Transcendence Evil Power within her body directly severed the magical energy supply to the two Marks.
After finishing this, Asagami Fujino looked ahead, where there was still a considerable distance to cover.
"Lia, you can feel it, right?"
"Yes, ahead should be the spiritual pulse of this city, but..." Artoria hesitated for a moment and said, "The space here is very strange, as if it's being shielded by something."
"There is something here that doesn't want to be known, so it's been sealed," Asagami Fujino said calmly.
"Let's continue forward, we're almost there."
"Yes."
"What's going on?!" Aoko Aozaki noticed that the quality of her magical energy was rapidly weakening, and her previously massive storage of magical energy vanished into nothingness in an instant.
Fortunately, the previous Magic Bullets finally managed to break the attack of the Heavenly Strike; otherwise, Aoko Aozaki might have taken a full-powered hit directly.
Beside her, Alice Kuonji's expression also changed slightly as she noticed the change in her magical energy. However, her eyes held a hint of solemnity. She had been studying the Mark's abilities non-stop these past few days but had made no progress. After all, something that appeared so suddenly made Alice Kuonji uneasy. The weakening of her magical energy now gave her a suspicion—a suspicion regarding Aozaki Touko and this Mark.
"This Mark is related to you, isn't it?" Alice Kuonji revealed the purple-black Mark on the back of her hand. At this moment, the Mark appeared very dim, having lost its luster.
"As expected of Alice, you found out," Aozaki Touko said with a relaxed expression. She wanted to pull out a cigarette to smoke, but her cigarettes had long since been burned away by that fellow Asagami Fujino.
"What is this Mark? When exactly did you plant it on us?" Alice Kuonji's expression was somewhat unpleasant, her eyes fixed on Aozaki Touko. Besides studying the Mark these past few days, she had also been reflecting on what had happened lately. she always felt something was off, as if she had a sense of incongruity on the day the Mark appeared. Recalling everything that happened that day gave her a sense of falsehood, as if her memories had been modified by someone else.
In her memories of that day, she should have been at home drinking black tea and researching magecraft, but that evening she found mud on her shoes—mud that hadn't been there for long. Combining this with her previous thoughts, Alice Kuonji concluded that her memories had been modified, and the Mark on the back of her hand must have been planted at that time.
"Do you remember that delivery?" Aozaki Touko didn't answer Alice Kuonji's question but instead asked them another one.
"Delivery? You sent it?!" Aoko Aozaki, standing nearby, looked at Aozaki Touko in surprise.
However, Aozaki Touko shook her head: "I didn't send it."
This answer left Aoko and Alice confused again, unsure of what Aozaki Touko was trying to do.
"I want to know, did you eat it?" Aozaki Touko looked at Aoko Aozaki and Alice Kuonji with a cryptic smile.
Under Aozaki Touko's smile, Aoko Aozaki and Alice Kuonji suddenly felt a chill down their spines, and then their expressions changed.
