My lips pursed, and I placed a hand to Quinlan's chest as I climbed into bed with him, straddling him as he teased my neck, drawing slowly on my pounding pulse.
The sharp point of his fang was poised there and his hand on me shook with restraint. He was derilious, but he was waiting for my approval. It made me feel warm inside and I suddenly needed to reward him for it.
I swept my hair over my shoulder and he growled deeply at the sight of my neck bared for him.
I braced, fingers twisted in the sheets on either sides of him. "Okay," I whispered.
He shivered, cradling my head gently as he unfastened the rope holding the dress to my shoulder. His hot breath hit my skin as he inhaled, and it was my turn to shiver.
Tension pulled my eyes open when his fingers followed the path of his breath and sensation blossomed between my legs. Goddess, what was he waiting for?
I cried inaudibly as his fangs tore into my neck with a brutality that warred his gentle hands.
