Kael stared at her for another second before silently admitting defeat.
Arguing with this woman was proven to be pointless anyway.
Which frustrated him to no end!

Which only made it even more frustrating!
Trapped in an endless circle of humor and frustration, the Demon Lord held out his hand, and a second later, a vine was sprouting from the earth, sturdy and strong enough to act like a rope.
"These vines are strong enough to detain even magical beasts so that it will do the job for your petite butt," Kael said as he pulled the long vine out of the ground. And before Sera could get properly outraged by his comment, he continued. "As for a light, this is the best I can do."
And with a flick of his fingers, a flame appeared, hovering over the palm of his hand.
The human princess grinned.
"Oh, now that is useful!"
