The corners of the mansion were darker then usual. The house seemed more empty than usual. It was like shirking slowly and dangerously. Rion snapped through the door of mansion. Her friends and Arthur and Roberto assisting her.
Elias was already waiting. In suit, a luggage ready. Lily was bouncing on couch, wearing a beautiful dress. "We gonna meet uncle soon? Yeahhhh!"
The excitement of child was unseen before. Eyes of Elias landed upon the group and he let's a puff of air which could have been amusement
"that's quiet a emergetic entrance, Rion" Elias remarked.
"Elias. Ethan was arrested, do something" Rion spoke up
Elias ignored her and waited for his mother to come downstairs. Giovanni came over and whispers the timing of flight
"Elias can you hear me? Ethan is arrested and where are you going?" Rion spoke again. This time louder.
"I heard you first time. Lily go and ask your grandma,how long?" Elias spoke gently with his daughter who nods and runs upstairs.
"Sir my brother from another mother was arrested for stealing from your mother's jewellery. He is being framed by someone" Arthur said
"The jewelry was in his bag" Elias stated
"What the! Ethan can never ever steal. He even asks before using my slippers" Rion said to elias. Her voice shaking with controlled rage inside her.
"I know" Cold tone of Elias started to appear. Unsettling Rion a bit. But she pushes through feeling
"If you know help him"
"I won't"
"Why?"
"Because I made Giovanni put jewellery in his kit" A smile appeared on Elias face. A smile of amusement and suppressed laughter.
The smile of Elias was nothing but confirmation of betrayal and Rion lost it.
She pulled her dagger out and before anyone can react, like a flash of light she was next to Elias with a wild swing of her arm. She thrust the dagger in Elias chest but she wasn't as close as she thought. Giovanni was already moving and in single swing of punch , he punched her jaw so hard that he smashed her down on floor in single punch.
All she could see was ceeling but she couldn't move. She heard her friend's grunts of swings as they fought but that turned into grunts of pain.
"I don't know what's more funny? Using you and Ethan was funny. But not as funny as you thinking you can hurt me. " Elias said as he cleans his Boot just next to her face.
She tries to speak up but her jaw wouldn't work.her consciousness faded slowly and last thing she saw was some other men dragging her.
Soon she and her friends was removed from the hallway and by the time she regained consciousness. They all were at the empty Balleni estate.
"JM? Charizard? " She woke up in empty room. She sat up and shakes thier shoulder. Everyone slowly regained consciousness.
"Did they? Just betrayed you." Arthur murmurs. Clutching his arm
"You saw it" she stated. Her voice losing all edge of roughness and confidence, but a shallow edge.
"For what? What does Ethan have that they want him in prison" Arthur asked
No one had answer. But Rion knew someone who could find the answer
Philippines prison
Inside special quaters of the visitor room. Built for Franciscco, Astrid was visiting him fourth time this week. He was already asleep. While she was just reading book
"Alright, this is fourth visit this week. My roomates will think i am having babies" Francisco voice echoed in empty chambers
"Can't i visit you?" Astrid asked. Her eyes hasn't moved away from book.
"I mean it's annoying to see you everyday and you'll just read a book"
"So tell me about Elias plan"
"You know the truth that I don't know, yet you are you asking me?"
She finally closed the book and looked over him.
"I know that you don't know. I just come here to think myself. It's nice here"
"Just admit that you are here to see my handsome face"
"I am here to see you face but that's not handsome in my POV"
"Yeah i knew you'll say it. But let's be honest that your POV is just you lying"
Her phone buzzes and she looked over the message. She stayed silent for a long time and spoke
"I have some work back. So I'll be leaving Phillipines for some time" she stated. Not giving the reason. And her sudden secrecy would have been Francisco concern, but he wasn't interested in her personal matters.
"Sure. I'll guess you took my words seriously. See ya, don't get plane crashed" Francisco said and was on his way back to his block without even a proper look let alone a hug.
Astrid knew his nature and wasn't even thinking about his lack of reaction. Her focus was entirely on the message sent by Rion
"ELIAS HAS ETHAN BEHIND THE BARS" stated by Rion in the capital letters entirely. She picked her bag and quickly booked a cab to the hotel.
She immediately texted Eric "assist Rion in any way she wants until my next text"
As soon as the double click and blue marker appeared. Her Vehicle stopped at unknown place and cab driver puts gun on her head. She glanced outside and found multiple man with guns
"Elias said that you can't interfere. Don't worry, we won't hurt you. Just keep you captive until Francisco isn't out" The driver said in professional tone
" You are doing a big mistake. I'll have your head when this is over"
"As you like. but for now, you are a captive"
Driver took her phone and takes out the sim and turns it off. The door opened and a Men signals her out. She looked ahead and saw a big logo on the building she was standing in front of.
"BALLENI hotels "
One of real estate of balleni family and she realised that she was being spied entire time
Back in Kahuna town
All team was at train station. To go back to accademy campus. Since Rion knew she had nothing to stay here for.
"Alright. Here is the plan. We will rescue Ethan out of prison" Rion said. Everyone stared at her and nods and claps
"Nice plan boss"
"What a brian sister in law"
*Bang* (that was probably Arthur getting punched)
Roberto scrubs his hands and rubs on his face. A calming meditation required to survive among stupid people as he claimed
"And how will we rescue Ethan. Out of puff? They will take him to court first and then they will have him sentencted"
"We will get intel of jail he is being kept"
"But how will we know where he is kept?" Arthur asked , a frown appearing on his brows. Suggestibg he is thinking at his highest brain power
"I have a plan. Remember the police officer who arrested Ethan. He might know the answer"
Rion phone buzzes and she glanced to see Ethan's mother calling. Against her will she ignored the call. Not brave enough for this conversation.
"We will have him out when they are taking him to court. We will call him as his lawyers" Rion said
"They listen to call and we will get caught while giving him directions to run" Roberto clarified
"We will do protests" Arthur suggested
"Good luck having him out after thirty years "
All boarded on
Rion noticed a mother on train with a girl of age 5 . Images of a young Rion flashed in her eyes but there was no face of mother she remembered. She snapped her out of images
"Did you also had flashbacks? That's why you helped em in morning" she muttered
Somewhere in a cell
Ethan sat in the empty cell all alone. The room was very decent. Not comfortable but not dirty for least right now.
He sighed and tried to get look outside the small window of the door but he couldn't see much.
Door cell opened and police officer enters and stated "time to sit in van"
